The Practitioner exam is open book, so the Managing Successful Projects manual is permitted. It uses scenario-based objective test questions, including multiple choice, matching, sequence and assertion-reason formats, that require analysis and judgment rather than simple recall.

How many questions are on the exam and how long is it?

The exam has 56 questions and sub-questions worth 70 marks, and you have 150 minutes (2 hours 30 minutes) to complete it. It is scenario-based and open book, so efficient manual navigation and deep method knowledge both matter.

What is the passing score for PRINCE2 Practitioner?

The pass mark is 60%, which means you need at least 42 out of 70 marks. Because questions are scenario-based, focus on applying and tailoring PRINCE2 across the syllabus rather than memorising the manual.

Where can I take the exam in Vietnam?

You can sit the exam online through PeopleCert's OnVUE proctoring, available 24/7, or at a PeopleCert authorised test centre. The exam is usually arranged through an Accredited Training Organization as part of a training and exam package.
