Who should take this Jira course?

It suits software developers, testers, Scrum Masters, business analysts, project managers, product owners, DevOps engineers and Jira administrators. Anyone in Vietnam who plans, tracks or reports on work in Jira will gain practical, job-ready skills from the training.

Is this a certification or a practical skills course?

This is a practical skills course, not a certification course. There is no exam. You learn by doing, and you receive a course completion certificate from Invensis Learning that recognises your participation and hands-on practice.

Do I need prior Jira experience to join?

No prior Jira experience is needed for the Fundamentals level, which starts from the basics. The Advanced level assumes you already use Jira or have completed Fundamentals. Familiarity with basic Agile ideas helps but is not required.

Should I take the Fundamentals or Advanced level?

Choose Fundamentals (2 days) if you are new to Jira or use it occasionally. Choose Advanced (3 days) if you already use Jira and want to master workflows, schemes, automation, JQL, dashboards and administration. You can take either level independently or both in sequence.

Assessment

Is there an exam at the end of the course?

No. This is a non-certification skills course, so there is no exam at either level. Your learning is reinforced through live, hands-on Jira exercises and configuration activities throughout the training.

Will I get a certificate after the training?

Yes. You receive a course completion certificate from Invensis Learning after completing each level. It recognises your participation and the hands-on Jira practice you complete during the programme.

How is my learning assessed during the course?

There is no formal assessment. Instead, you build proficiency through practical exercises using realistic Agile delivery scenarios, so you leave able to apply Jira skills directly to your own projects.

Do I need Jira software access during the course?

Yes. You should have access to a Jira environment, such as a free Jira Cloud trial from Atlassian or a shared training instance where provided. Ask about software access for your chosen delivery format when you enrol.

Course Content

What does the Fundamentals level cover?

Fundamentals covers Jira navigation, project creation, the issue hierarchy, Scrum boards and sprints, Kanban boards and WIP limits, roadmaps and versions, filters, basic JQL and the core Agile reports such as velocity and burndown.

What does the Advanced level cover?

Advanced covers custom workflow design with conditions, validators and post-functions, permission and notification schemes, custom fields, advanced JQL, dashboards, Jira automation, integrations with the Atlassian toolchain and CI/CD tools, and Jira administration.

Will I learn JQL and Jira automation?

Yes. Basic JQL and filters are covered at Fundamentals level. Advanced JQL, dashboards and the full Jira automation engine, including triggers, conditions, actions and smart values, are covered in depth at the Advanced level.

How long is each level of the training?

The Fundamentals level runs over 2 days (16 hours) and the Advanced level over 3 days (24 hours). Both are available as full-day sessions or extended half-day formats, so you can pick what fits your schedule.

What materials and practice are included?

You get structured courseware, guided walkthroughs and hands-on exercises using realistic delivery scenarios, so you practise every feature as the trainer demonstrates it. Materials support both the Fundamentals and Advanced levels.
