    Pricing

How much does PMI-CP training cost in Saskatoon?

Instructor-led PMI-CP training fees vary by format and schedule, so pricing for Saskatoon is available on request. The PMI exam fee is billed separately in USD under PMI's regional pricing and is not part of the training fee. Request a quote for current options.

What is included in the PMI-CP course fee?

The training fee typically includes PMI-aligned courseware, practice questions and mock exams, guidance on the four prerequisite modules, application support, learner support, and a course completion certificate with contact hours. Talk to a learning advisor for a detailed breakdown.

Is the PMI-CP exam fee included in the training price?

No. PMI bills the PMI-CP exam fee separately in USD under regional pricing, with lower rates for PMI members than non-members. PMI membership also reduces renewal costs. Confirm current exam fees on the PMI website before applying.

Do you offer group or corporate discounts for PMI-CP training?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for construction teams, PMOs and leadership groups across Saskatchewan. Contact us for a tailored quote for your team.

    Exam

What is the format of the PMI-CP exam?

The PMI-CP exam is closed book with multiple-choice questions in single-answer and multiple-answer formats, based on the current PMI-CP Examination Content Outline and the current edition of the PMBOK Guide. It is delivered online proctored via Pearson VUE OnVUE or at a Pearson VUE test centre.

How many questions are on the PMI-CP exam and how long is it?

The PMI-CP exam has 120 questions and an allotted time of 230 minutes, which is 3 hours and 50 minutes. Questions are distributed across the four domains: Contracts Management, Stakeholder Engagement, Strategy and Scope Management, and Project Governance.

What are the PMI-CP exam domains and their weights?

There are four domains per the PMI-CP Examination Content Outline: Contracts Management (50%), Stakeholder Engagement (30%), Strategy and Scope Management (15%) and Project Governance (5%). Contracts Management is by far the largest, reflecting the centrality of contracts in construction.

What is the passing score and how many attempts do I get?

PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score rather than a fixed percentage, with results reported by domain as Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement. You may take up to three attempts within the one-year eligibility period after your application is approved.

What are the prerequisites to sit the PMI-CP exam?

You must complete all four mandatory self-paced modules and meet one experience and education set: a secondary diploma with 60 months of construction PM experience, a bachelor's degree with 36 months, or a GAC-accredited degree with 24 months, each with 35 contact hours of PM education.

    Course Content

What topics are covered in the PMI-CP training?

The training covers all four PMI-CP domains: Contracts Management, Stakeholder Engagement, Strategy and Scope Management, and Project Governance, spanning contract types and delivery methods, contract administration, claims, scope and schedule control, risk, and governance, plus exam strategy.

Can a construction professional new to PMI take this course?

Yes. The training is built for practising construction professionals and progresses from foundations to exam readiness with real construction scenarios. You still need the required construction PM experience to sit the exam, and we guide you through documenting it for the PMI application.

What learning resources and materials are provided?

You receive PMI-aligned courseware, references to the PMI-CP Examination Content Outline and Handbook, practice questions mapped to the exam, and study aids. The programme also points you to the four mandatory prerequisite modules that award 56 PDUs in total.

Does this training meet the 35 contact hours PMI requires?

The instructor-led programme provides 32 contact hours, which is close to but below the 35 contact hours of project management education PMI requires across all eligibility sets. Check with us on supplementary self-study or pre-reading that can be credited toward the 35-hour requirement.

Is the courseware aligned with the current PMI-CP standard?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the current PMI-CP Examination Content Outline and the current edition of the PMBOK Guide, along with construction industry standards referenced by PMI, so you prepare against what the exam actually tests.

    Enrollment

How soon can I start and how do I enrol in Saskatoon?

    What training formats are available?

We offer live virtual (online) instructor-led training, classroom training, self-paced learning and customised corporate group training, so you can choose the format that fits your project schedule and learning style.

Do I need construction experience to enrol?

Anyone can enrol in the training. To sit the PMI-CP exam, PMI requires completion of the four mandatory modules plus construction project management experience and 35 contact hours of PM education, matched to one of the three eligibility sets.

Can I reschedule or transfer my enrolment to another batch?

Yes. Flexi options let you reschedule or move to another batch, and selected plans allow you to attend the training twice. Contact our support team to arrange a transfer that suits you.
