Course Content

What topics does the training cover?

The training covers five modules: project management concepts, project influences, the role of the project manager, the project management cycle, and an Agile projects overview. Together they span the full lifecycle from initiation to closure.

What skills will I learn in this course?

You will learn to plan and manage scope, schedule, cost, resources, quality, risk and stakeholders across the project lifecycle, and to apply predictive, Agile and business-analysis approaches to real work situations.

Does the course cover Agile as well as traditional methods?

Yes. Alongside predictive, plan-based methodologies, the course includes an overview of Agile projects, covering Agile release planning and the Scrum process in brief, so you understand how different approaches fit together.

How long is the Project Management Fundamentals training?

The course runs over two days, totalling 16 hours, covering the five-module syllabus through lectures, interactive discussions and hands-on exercises. An extended half-day schedule over four days is also possible.
