How many questions are on the PMI-CP exam and how long is it?

The PMI-CP exam has 120 questions and a duration of 230 minutes (3 hours 50 minutes). It is closed book, with single-answer and multiple-answer multiple-choice questions delivered online or at a test centre.

What are the PMI-CP exam domains and their weights?

The exam covers four domains from the current Examination Content Outline: Contracts Management (50%), Stakeholder Engagement (30%), Strategy and Scope Management (15%) and Project Governance (5%). Contracts Management carries the most weight, reflecting its centrality in construction.

What is the passing score for the PMI-CP exam?

PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score that is not published as a fixed number. Results are reported as pass or fail, with domain-level feedback of Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement, so aim for broad mastery across all four domains.

What if I do not pass the PMI-CP exam the first time?

Does the training include the four mandatory prerequisite modules?

Is the courseware aligned to the latest PMI-CP syllabus?
