PMI-RMP builds qualitative and quantitative analysis skills

    Risk Talent Scarcity

The Netherlands has deep project management talent but few credentialed risk specialists. A specialist focus makes PMI-RMP holders rare and sought-after.

The Risk Skills You Will BuildFrom Identification to Closure

Skills covered in PMI-RMP training span the five ECO domains, so you can plan, identify, analyse, respond to and monitor project risk. By the end, you can run risk management end to end on predictive, agile and hybrid projects.

    Risk Strategy and Planning

Establish the risk management approach, governance and thresholds for a project, and tailor the risk management plan to predictive, agile or hybrid delivery.

    Risk Identification

Facilitate identification workshops using brainstorming, the Delphi technique, SWOT and assumption analysis, and document risks clearly in a cause-risk-effect risk register.

    Qualitative and Quantitative Analysis

Prioritise risks with probability-impact matrices, then apply Monte Carlo simulation, decision trees, sensitivity analysis and expected monetary value to quantify exposure.

    Risk Response Planning

Select response strategies for threats (avoid, transfer, mitigate, accept) and opportunities (exploit, share, enhance, accept), and build contingency and fallback plans.

    Monitoring and Closing Risks

Track triggers and residual risks, run periodic risk reviews, report on risk exposure, and formally close risks with lessons learned at project closure.

Yes. Risk specialists are in strong demand across Dutch banking, energy, water and infrastructure sectors, where structured risk management is expected. Project risk manager roles average around €67,300, and PMI-RMP validates the five-domain expertise employers seek. Talk to a learning advisor to plan your path.

The credential is based on the PMI-RMP Examination Content Outline (ECO) effective January 2022, aligned to PMI's Practice Standard for Project Risk Management and the PMBOK Guide, covering predictive, agile and hybrid approaches.

    General

What is the PMI-RMP certification and who is it for?

Is the PMI-RMP worth it for professionals in the Netherlands?

Yes. Risk specialists are in strong demand across Dutch banking, energy, water and infrastructure sectors, where structured risk management is expected. How long is the PMI-RMP certification valid?

PMI-RMP is valid for three years. You maintain it by earning 30 PDUs in risk management topics within each three-year continuing certification requirements (CCR) cycle.

What standard is the PMI-RMP exam based on?

The credential is based on the PMI-RMP Examination Content Outline (ECO) effective January 2022, aligned to PMI's Practice Standard for Project Risk Management and the PMBOK Guide, covering predictive, agile and hybrid approaches.

    Pricing

What is included in the PMI-RMP training fee?

The fee typically covers PMI-aligned courseware, 32 contact hours, practice questions, mock exams, application guidance and learner support. Training in the Netherlands is priced in euros and available on request; request a quote for current batches.

How much does the PMI-RMP exam cost?

PMI bills the exam separately in USD under regional pricing: for reference, around USD 520 for members and USD 670 for non-members. Verify current fees on pmi.org before applying, as PMI membership can reduce the exam cost.

Do you offer group or corporate discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for PMOs and risk teams. Ask about corporate pricing for a tailored quote for your team.

Are instalment or payment options available?

Yes. We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, and offer instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

Is the exam fee included in the course price?

No. The PMI-RMP exam fee is paid separately to PMI in USD. Your training fee covers preparation, courseware and support, not the exam itself.

    Exam

What if I do not pass the PMI-RMP exam first time?

You get up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility period. Our training includes mock exams and domain-focused practice to prepare you thoroughly. Re-examination fees apply to the second and third attempts.

How many questions are on the PMI-RMP exam and how long is it?

The exam has 115 questions and lasts 2.5 hours (150 minutes). It is closed book, with single-answer and multiple-answer multiple-choice questions.

What are the PMI-RMP exam domains and weights?

Five domains: Risk Strategy and Planning (20%), Risk Identification (20%), Risk Analysis (23%), Risk Response (22%) and Monitor and Close Risks (15%), per the January 2022 ECO.

What is the passing score for the PMI-RMP exam?

PMI does not publish a fixed pass mark. Results are determined psychometrically and reported by domain as Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement, so aim for broad mastery across all five domains.

Where can I take the PMI-RMP exam in the Netherlands?

You can sit the exam at a Pearson VUE test centre in the Netherlands or online via Pearson VUE OnVUE proctoring. Scheduling is done through PMI's portal within your one-year eligibility window.

    Course Content

What topics does the PMI-RMP training cover?

The training covers all five ECO domains: risk strategy and planning, identification, analysis, response, and monitoring and closing risks, plus qualitative and quantitative tools and application guidance.

Do I need prior experience to take the training?

Anyone can attend the training. To sit the exam, PMI requires project risk management experience and education under one of three eligibility sets. Our advisors can confirm the route that fits you.

Does this training meet the PMI-RMP education requirement?

Yes. The programme provides 32 contact hours, fully satisfying the 30-hour education requirement for Set B and Set C candidates. Set A candidates need 40 hours and should add supplementary study.

    What learning resources are included?

You receive PMI-aligned courseware, practice questions mapped to the exam, mock exams, quizzes and templates covering the five risk domains, so your revision stays focused and structured.

Does the training cover agile and hybrid risk management?

Yes. In line with the current ECO, the training addresses risk management across predictive, agile and hybrid project environments, not just traditional delivery.
