What are the prerequisites for the PMP certification?

There are two paths. With a four-year degree you need 36 months of leading projects plus 35 contact hours of project management education. With a secondary diploma you need 60 months of leading projects plus the same 35 contact hours, which this training provides.

How long is the PMP certification valid?

The PMP is valid for three years. To maintain it, you earn 60 PDUs (Professional Development Units) across the PMI Talent Triangle within each three-year cycle, with a minimum of 8 PDUs in each area.

How much does PMP training cost in the Netherlands?

What is the format of the PMP exam?

The PMP is a closed-book exam with 180 questions delivered over 230 minutes, including two 10-minute breaks. It uses multiple-choice, multiple-response, matching, hotspot and limited fill-in-the-blank questions, based on the PMP Examination Content Outline and the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition.

How many questions are on the PMP exam and how long is it?

The exam has 180 questions and lasts 230 minutes (3 hours 50 minutes), including two scheduled 10-minute breaks. The questions are scenario-based, testing how you apply project management principles rather than pure recall.

What are the PMP exam domains?

The updated exam aligned to the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition covers five domains: Project Management Fundamentals (15%), Predictive Methodologies (28%), Agile Frameworks (27%), Business Analysis and Strategic Management (18%), and Stakeholder Engagement and Communication (12%).

What is the passing score for the PMP exam?

PMI does not publish a fixed percentage pass mark. Your result is set through psychometric analysis and reported as pass or fail with domain-level feedback of Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement, so aim for broad mastery across all domains.

How many attempts do I get and can I retake the exam?

You get up to three attempts within the one-year eligibility window from application approval. A re-examination fee applies to the second and third attempts. Confirm the current amounts on pmi.org before you rebook.

Where can I take the PMP exam in the Netherlands?

You can sit the exam at a Pearson VUE test centre in the Netherlands or online from home or office through Pearson VUE's OnVUE proctoring. Scheduling is done through PMI's portal or the Pearson VUE website.

The training covers the full PMP content: project management fundamentals, predictive and plan-based delivery, agile and hybrid frameworks, business analysis and value delivery, and stakeholder engagement and communication, plus exam strategy and application guidance.

Does the PMP course cover agile?

Yes. Roughly half the exam reflects agile or hybrid approaches, and the updated exam includes a dedicated agile frameworks domain. The training covers Scrum, Kanban, Lean and hybrid delivery alongside predictive methods.

Which edition is the PMP course based on?

The course is aligned to PMI's PMP Examination Content Outline and the PMBOK Guide Eighth Edition, the current reference standard for the exam. Your courseware reflects the latest domain structure and content.

Are practice tests and mock exams included?

Yes. The programme includes extensive practice questions, full-length mock exams, an exam simulator and topic-wise quizzes so you can identify weak areas and build exam-day readiness.

Will I earn the 35 contact hours I need to apply?

Yes. The training provides 35 contact hours of project management education, satisfying that part of the PMP eligibility requirement. You also need the required months of project leadership experience to apply.
