Frequently Asked QuestionsHere's everything you may ask...

The Change Management Foundation and Practitioner (CM-F&P) is a globally recognised, two-level qualification covering the models, tools and practices used to manage the people side of organisational change. Foundation validates your knowledge; Practitioner proves you can apply it to real change scenarios.

    General

What is the Change Management Foundation and Practitioner certification?

The Change Management Foundation and Practitioner (CM-F&P) is a globally recognised, two-level qualification covering the models, tools and practices used to manage the people side of organisational change. Foundation validates your knowledge; Practitioner proves you can apply it to real change scenarios.

Who should take this Change Management course in Switzerland?

It suits change and OD professionals, project and programme managers, HR business partners, consultants and leaders sponsoring change. No prior change management experience is needed to begin at Foundation level.

Is the Change Management qualification recognised in Switzerland?

Yes. The qualification is recognised in over 150 countries and is well respected across Swiss banking, pharma, insurance and consulting, where organisational change is a recognised professional discipline.

Is this certification worth it for my career?

For most professionals, yes. Change roles in Switzerland range from Change Analyst around CHF 85,000 to Head of Transformation near CHF 240,000, and a recognised credential helps you stand out for these in-demand roles. Talk to a learning advisor to plan your path.

What standard is the course based on?

The course is grounded in the Change Management Body of Knowledge (CMBoK) from the Change Management Institute and the current Change Management Practitioner Guide, drawing on models such as ADKAR, Kotter, Lewin and Bridges.

    Pricing

How much does the Change Management course cost in Switzerland?

Fees vary by format and cohort, so pricing is available on request. Your package typically bundles instructor-led training and both exam vouchers. Request a quote for current Switzerland pricing and group rates.

What is included in the course fee?

The fee usually includes syllabus-aligned courseware, case studies, Foundation and Practitioner mock exams, and both exam vouchers, plus learner support. Confirm current inclusions when you enquire.

Are the exam fees included in the price?

In most packages both the Foundation and Practitioner exam vouchers are included. Because inclusions can vary by cohort, confirm the exam voucher details with our team before you enrol.

Do you offer corporate or group discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with tailored schedules and volume-based pricing for teams and PMOs across Switzerland. Ask about group pricing for a tailored quote.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major cards and bank transfers, with instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose what suits you.

    Exam

How many exams are there in the programme?

Two. The Foundation exam has 50 multiple-choice questions in 40 minutes (closed book, 50% to pass, 25 out of 50). The Practitioner exam has 5 scenario sections worth 80 marks in 2.5 hours (open book, 50% to pass, 40 out of 80). You must pass both.

What is the passing score for each exam?

Both exams require 50%. Foundation needs 25 correct out of 50 questions; Practitioner needs 40 out of 80 marks across five scenario-based sections.

What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

The Change Management Practitioner Guide is permitted during the Practitioner exam. The scenario questions still require analysis and judgement, so you need both deep knowledge and quick guide navigation.

What are the prerequisites for each level?

Foundation has no prerequisites and is open to all. Practitioner requires the Change Management Foundation certificate first. The combined programme covers both levels in sequence.

What if I do not pass on the first attempt?

You can resit the relevant exam. Our trainers provide mock exams and first-attempt guidance to prepare you thoroughly. Ask our team about resit options and support.

    Course Content

What will I learn in the Change Management course?

You will learn to guide individuals through change, apply organisational change models, engage stakeholders, plan and deliver change, and manage yourself as a change professional, across the five syllabus areas at both Foundation and Practitioner level.

What change management models are covered?

The syllabus covers ADKAR, Bridges' Transition Model, Lewin's Three-Step Model, Kotter's 8-Step Model, McKinsey 7-S, Schein's culture model, Goleman's emotional intelligence and Cialdini's principles of influence.

Do I need prior experience to join?

No. Foundation is open to beginners and career changers. The programme builds from core concepts to applied practice, so newcomers and experienced practitioners both benefit.

    How is the training delivered?

The 40-hour programme is delivered as live virtual (online) instructor-led training, classroom, or corporate group sessions, with case studies, mock exams and open-book Practitioner technique.

    What materials are provided?

You receive syllabus-aligned courseware, industry case studies, Foundation and Practitioner practice questions, and mock exams to build readiness for both exams.

How do I enrol in the Change Management course?
