Change Challenges Driving Demand in the Slovak Republic

    Adoption Gap on Digital Programmes

Slovak firms invest heavily in cloud, AI and automation, but many transformations stall at the people stage. Certified change professionals close the gap between new technology and real adoption.

Foundation and Practitioner training closes the adoption gap

    Change Fatigue in Service Centres

Global business service centres in Bratislava and Kosice run constant restructuring. Structured change practice reduces resistance and fatigue so teams stay engaged and productive.

Learn to reduce resistance and change fatigue

    Automotive Operating-Model Shift

The move to electric vehicle production, including Volvo's new Kosice plant, demands large-scale workforce and process change that skilled change managers are hired to lead.

Build skills to lead large-scale change

SME Digital Maturity Below EU Average

Slovak SMEs lag the EU on digital adoption. As they modernise with EDIH support, they need change capability to embed new tools and ways of working, not just install them.

Help SMEs embed new ways of working

    Shortage of Certified Change Talent

Slovakia has a deep pool of project managers but far fewer credentialed change professionals. The CM-F&P qualification makes holders stand out to employers.

Stand out with a recognised change credential

    Strategy-To-Culture Disconnect

Boards approve transformation, but weak stakeholder engagement and culture work cause value leakage. Change practitioners connect leadership intent to how people actually work.

Frequently Asked QuestionsHere's everything you may ask...

The Change Management Foundation and Practitioner (CM-F&P) is a two-level qualification for managing the people side of organisational change. Foundation validates your knowledge of change models and concepts; Practitioner proves you can apply them to real change scenarios. It draws on the Change Management Body of Knowledge (CMBoK).

    General

What is the Change Management Foundation and Practitioner certification?

The Change Management Foundation and Practitioner (CM-F&P) is a two-level qualification for managing the people side of organisational change. Foundation validates your knowledge of change models and concepts; Practitioner proves you can apply them to real change scenarios. It draws on the Change Management Body of Knowledge (CMBoK).

Who should take this change management course?

It suits project and programme managers, HR business partners, OD and transformation professionals, consultants and leaders who guide organisational change. In the Slovak Republic it is popular with staff in business service centres, banks, automotive firms and the public sector.

Is the change management qualification recognised in the Slovak Republic?

Yes. It is a globally recognised qualification used in over 150 countries and valued by Slovak employers running digital, automotive and operating-model transformation. It is especially well regarded across Europe, where change management is an established profession.

Do I need any prior experience to start?

No. Change Management Foundation has no formal prerequisites and is open to all. To sit the Practitioner exam you must first hold the Foundation certificate, which the combined programme prepares you for in sequence.

Is the CM-F&P certification worth it for my career?

Yes. Certified change professionals are in demand across the Slovak Republic as employers separate those who can lead adoption from those who only deliver projects. The credential opens change manager, OD and transformation-lead roles that command strong salary bands. Talk to a learning advisor to plan your path.

    Pricing

How much does the change management training cost in the Slovak Republic?

Fees vary by format, whether live virtual, classroom or corporate group training, and by the resources included. Pricing is available on request. Contact us for a tailored quote and details of any current offers.

What is included in the course fee?

The fee typically includes trainer-led sessions, courseware aligned to the CM-F and CM-P syllabi, scenario-based practice, mock exams and learner support. Exam voucher inclusion varies, so confirm this when you enrol. Request a quote for a full breakdown.

Are the exam fees included in the price?

Exam voucher inclusion depends on the package you choose. Some bundles include both the Foundation and Practitioner exam vouchers; others quote them separately. Ask your learning advisor which option applies before you enrol.

Do you offer corporate or group discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for teams in PMOs, HR functions and transformation offices. Contact us for a group quote for your organisation.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, with instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Exam

What is the format of the Foundation exam?

The Change Management Foundation exam has 50 multiple-choice questions, lasts 40 minutes, and is closed book. The pass mark is 50%, meaning 25 out of 50 correct. It is usually taken at the end of the Foundation part of the training.

What is the format of the Practitioner exam?

The Practitioner exam is open book, using the Change Management Practitioner Guide. It has 5 scenario-based sections worth 16 marks each, 80 marks in total, over 2.5 hours. The pass mark is 50%, meaning 40 out of 80 marks.

What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

You may use the Change Management Practitioner Guide during the exam. However, the scenario questions require analysis and judgement, so you cannot simply look up answers. Efficient guide navigation and solid method knowledge are both essential.

How many exams are in the combined programme?

Two. You sit a separate Foundation exam and a separate Practitioner exam, and must pass both to hold both credentials. Foundation is taken first; Practitioner follows and requires the Foundation certificate.

What if I do not pass an exam on the first attempt?

You can resit the exam you did not pass. Retake policies and any resit fees vary by exam and package, so confirm the current terms with your learning advisor. Our guidance is designed to help you clear both exams on the first attempt.

Which standard is the exam based on?

The exams are based on the current Change Management Foundation and Practitioner syllabi, aligned to the Change Management Body of Knowledge (CMBoK) and the current Change Management Practitioner Guide.

    Course Content

What topics does the change management course cover?

The programme covers five topic areas: Change and the Individual, Change and the Organisation, Communication and Stakeholder Engagement, Change Practice, and Personal and Professional Management, at both Foundation and Practitioner level.

Which change management models will I learn?

You will learn a broad set of models, including ADKAR, Bridges' Transition Model, Lewin's Three-Step Model, Kotter's 8-Step Model, the McKinsey 7-S Framework, Schein's culture model, Goleman's emotional intelligence and Cialdini's principles of influence.

Can a beginner take this course?

Yes. Foundation has no prerequisites and starts from core concepts, so beginners are welcome. The training builds from awareness to applied practice, with hands-on scenarios and support, so you are ready for both exams by the end.

Are practice materials and mock exams included?

Yes. The programme includes scenario-based practice, mock questions and case studies mapped to both exam formats, helping you identify weak areas and build exam readiness for the Foundation and Practitioner tests.

In what format is the training delivered?

Training is delivered by expert trainers as live virtual, classroom or in-company sessions across the Slovak Republic. Courseware is provided, and the combined 40-hour programme covers Foundation first, then Practitioner.

    Enrollment

How do I enrol in the change management course?

You can enrol through the Invensis Learning website. Choose your preferred format, complete payment, and you will receive access to schedules, courseware and learning resources. See upcoming batches or talk to an advisor to get started.

    What training formats are available?

We offer live virtual (online) instructor-led training, classroom sessions, and customised corporate group training, so you can choose the format that fits your schedule and learning style.

    How long is the training?

The combined Foundation and Practitioner programme is delivered as 40 hours of instructor-led training. The number of days depends on the schedule, for example full-day or extended half-day formats across the working week.

    When can I start?

New batches run regularly in live virtual and classroom formats. Check the upcoming schedules for the next available dates, or speak with a learning advisor to find a batch that suits you.

Can I reschedule or transfer my enrolment?

Yes. Flexible options let you reschedule or transfer to another batch, and selected plans let you attend the training again. Contact our support team to arrange this.
