Is this a formal certification course?

No. Root cause analysis training is a non-certification skills course focused on practical capability rather than a credential or awarding body. You leave able to apply the tools at work immediately, and the skills do not expire.

How is learning assessed during the training?

Learning is assessed informally through hands-on activities: an Is / Is Not problem-definition exercise, a 5 Whys investigation, a Fishbone workshop, and completion of an 8D report for a realistic scenario. These let you apply each tool under trainer guidance.
