    What do I receive on completion?

    Does the course prepare me for a certification?

    Course Content

    What will I learn in the QFD course?

    You will learn to capture and structure the Voice of the Customer, build and interpret all six rooms of the House of Quality, resolve design trade-offs, and cascade requirements through product planning, parts deployment, process planning and production planning.

    What is the House of Quality?

    The House of Quality is the central QFD planning matrix that links customer requirements to measurable engineering characteristics, scores their relationships, benchmarks competitors and sets design targets. Building and reading it is the core practical skill of the course.

    Does the course cover the Kano model and Voice of the Customer?

    Yes. The Voice of the Customer module covers data collection methods, customer segmentation, the affinity diagram and the Kano model for classifying must-be, performance and delighter requirements.

    Is the training relevant to services and software, not just manufacturing?

    Yes. Although QFD began in manufacturing, the course shows how to apply it to service design, healthcare, financial services and software, wherever customer needs must become design or delivery specifications.

    Are there hands-on exercises in the training?

    Yes. You build a complete House of Quality from a realistic scenario, classify requirements with the Kano model, calculate column importance and identify design hot spots, so you leave able to run QFD at work.
