What Is the Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification?UntitledYour Entry Point into Process Improvement
The Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (LSSYB) is an entry-level, globally recognised credential that validates your foundational understanding of the DMAIC process improvement method. Awarded by the International Association for Six Sigma Certification (IASSC), it confirms you can support and contribute to improvement projects across all five phases: Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve and Control. This credential suits professionals across Norway who are new to process improvement and want a credible first step before progressing to Green Belt. There are no prerequisites to sit the exam, making it accessible to team members in manufacturing, energy, healthcare, logistics and the public sector. The Yellow Belt exam is a 60-question, two-hour closed-book test, and the credential stays current for three years. With instructor-led training from Invensis Learning, you build the awareness, vocabulary and Lean tool knowledge to add value to improvement teams from day one and start your Lean Six Sigma journey with confidence.
Invensis Learning is an accredited IASSC (Peoplecert) training partner in Norway (2778), approved to deliver official LSSYB training using IASSC-aligned courseware.
