The Foundation exam has 60 multiple-choice questions in 60 minutes, closed book, with a single-answer format. The pass mark is 60%, or 36 out of 60. It tests knowledge and comprehension of the PRINCE2 7 method.

What is the format of the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam?

The Practitioner exam has 56 questions and sub-questions worth 70 marks, over 150 minutes, and is open book with the PRINCE2 manual permitted. The pass mark is 60%, or 42 out of 70. It tests applying and tailoring PRINCE2 to scenarios.

How many exams are there in the combined programme?

There are two separate PeopleCert exams. You must sit and pass both the Foundation exam and the Practitioner exam to hold both credentials. Foundation is usually taken first, then Practitioner.

Where can I take the PRINCE2 exams?

You can take both exams online through PeopleCert's OnVUE proctored system, available 24/7, or at an authorised test centre. They are typically arranged through your accredited training provider as part of the package.

What if I do not pass the first time?
