    Do I need a PMP before taking the PMI-RMP?

    No. A PMP is not a prerequisite for the PMI-RMP. You can apply directly based on your project risk management experience and education. Many professionals hold both, as the two credentials are highly complementary.

    How long is the PMI-RMP certification valid?

    The exam is closed book with multiple-choice questions (single-answer and multiple-answer formats), delivered via Pearson VUE OnVUE online proctoring or at a Pearson VUE test centre. It is based on the January 2022 Examination Content Outline.

    How many questions are on the PMI-RMP exam?

    The exam has 115 questions and a time limit of 2.5 hours (150 minutes). Results are reported as pass or fail with domain-level feedback of Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement.

    Can a beginner take this course, or do I need experience?

    Anyone can enrol in the training. To sit the exam, PMI requires prior project risk management experience and education. The programme builds from the fundamentals through advanced quantitative techniques, so newer risk professionals are well supported.

    Does this training meet the PMI education requirement?

    Yes. The programme delivers 32 contact hours, which fully meets the 30-hour education requirement for Set B (bachelor's degree) and Set C (GAC-accredited degree) applicants. Set A applicants need 40 hours and should add supplementary study.

    Are practice tests and mock exams included?

    Yes. The programme includes practice questions and full-length mock exams modelled on the 115-question format, plus topic-wise quizzes to help you identify weak areas and build exam readiness.
