    Will this qualify me to lead Six Sigma projects?

    No. The course builds awareness so you can contribute to and support projects led by Green Belts and Black Belts. To lead DMAIC projects yourself, progress to Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Green Belt training after building this foundation.

    What topics does the Six Sigma Awareness course cover?

    The course covers Six Sigma history and philosophy, key concepts such as DPMO, variation and Critical to Quality, the five DMAIC phases, Six Sigma roles, an awareness-level look at core tools, and Lean Six Sigma, all in one day with case examples and discussion.

    Can a complete beginner take this course?

    Yes. There are no prerequisites and no prior quality or statistical knowledge is assumed. The course is built for a general audience, from front-line employees to senior leaders, so beginners can follow every topic comfortably.

    What Six Sigma tools will I learn about?

    You gain awareness of tools including SIPOC, the Fishbone or Ishikawa diagram, Pareto charts, control charts, Gauge R&R and process capability. The aim is to understand what each tool does and why practitioners use it, not to master them at practitioner depth.

    Is Lean Six Sigma covered in the course?

    Yes. The course explains how Lean Six Sigma combines Lean waste elimination with Six Sigma variation reduction, and how Lean tools such as Value Stream Mapping, 5S and Kaizen complement the DMAIC methodology in real improvement programmes.
