    Is the Lean Six Sigma Black Belt worth it in Croatia?

    Do I need prerequisites for the Black Belt certification?

    Is the exam fee included in the training price?

    No. The exam voucher is purchased separately from the certification body and billed in USD under regional pricing, so it is not part of the training fee. Ask a learning advisor for the current voucher cost when you enrol.

    What is the format of the Black Belt exam?

    The exam is closed book and made up of 150 multiple-choice questions, each worth one mark. A reference document with the required formulas and tables is provided. It is delivered online with proctoring or at a Pearson VUE test centre.

    How many questions are on the exam and how long is it?

    There are 150 scored multiple-choice questions, and some exam forms include up to 15 additional unscored questions. You have four hours (240 minutes) to complete it, with extra time available for non-native speakers.

    What is the passing score for the Black Belt exam?

    You need a minimum of 580 points out of 750 to pass. Because the questions span all five DMAIC phases, focus your preparation on broad mastery rather than any single phase.

    What is the exam application process?

    After preparing, you purchase the exam voucher through the IASSC orders site and choose your delivery mode: online on-demand proctoring, available 24/7, or a Pearson VUE test centre. You then schedule and sit the proctored exam within the eligibility window.

    Can I retake the exam if I do not pass?

    Yes. If you do not pass, you can retake the exam by purchasing another voucher. Our trainers and practice resources help you target weak areas so you are well prepared for your next attempt.

    No prior statistics expertise is required. The programme builds advanced statistical methods step by step, from basic statistics through hypothesis testing and design of experiments, with worked examples so you can apply each tool with confidence.

    Yes. The courseware is aligned to the current Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Body of Knowledge and its DMAIC structure, so what you learn matches what the exam evaluates.
