What is the format of the Black Belt exam?

How long is the exam and what score do I need?

You have 4 hours (240 minutes) to complete the exam. The minimum passing score is 580 out of 750 points. Non-native speakers may request an additional 60 minutes.

Which body certifies the Black Belt exam?

The exam is governed by IASSC, the International Association for Six Sigma Certification, which was acquired by PeopleCert in 2020. It is structured around the five DMAIC phases of the Body of Knowledge.
