    Yes. You receive a course completion certificate from Invensis Learning after completing the programme. It records your attendance and the Lean manufacturing skills covered, which you can apply immediately at work.

    How is learning assessed during the programme?

    There is no formal assessment. Instead, you apply the tools through practical exercises such as a waste walk, value stream mapping, a 5S assessment, an OEE calculation and kanban sizing, so you build real capability during the session.

    Will I be able to apply Lean tools straight away?

    Yes. By the end you can run a waste walk, read a value stream map, implement 5S, design a simple kanban system, calculate OEE and lead Kaizen. The skills are immediately applicable and do not expire.

    Does this lead to a formal Lean qualification?

    No formal credential or governing-body qualification is awarded, as Lean manufacturing training has no awarding body. It builds practical, workplace-ready skills and a completion certificate from Invensis Learning, and pairs well with further Lean study later.

    Yes. Practical, hands-on exercises run throughout, including a Gemba-based waste walk, value stream data collection, a 5S workplace assessment, an OEE calculation and kanban quantity sizing, all applied to realistic production scenarios.

    What will I learn about reducing waste and cost?

    You will learn to identify the eight wastes, map flow to find bottlenecks, improve equipment effectiveness with TPM and OEE, cut changeover time with SMED and prevent defects with Poka Yoke, all of which reduce cost while protecting value and quality.

    Is the training only for manufacturing?

    It focuses on manufacturing, but many tools such as 5S, Kaizen, value stream mapping and waste elimination apply to logistics, operations and service environments too. Cross-functional teams from the wider operation also benefit.
