    Is QFD training worth it for professionals in Armenia?

    Yes. As Armenia shifts from IT services to designing and exporting its own products, QFD gives engineers, designers and product managers a practical way to build quality in from the start, a skill valued across electronics, pharma, food and software.

    Who should attend this QFD course?

    It suits product designers, design and quality engineers, R&D professionals, product managers, marketing professionals and Six Sigma practitioners who need to turn customer needs into product or service specifications. No prior QFD knowledge is required.

    Do I need prior experience or qualifications?

    Will QFD skills help with Six Sigma projects?

    Yes. QFD is a core tool in Design for Six Sigma (DMADV Measure phase) and in the DMAIC Define phase, so the skills apply directly if you work on or plan Lean Six Sigma projects.

    Course Content

    What topics does the QFD training cover?

    The course covers QFD foundations, Voice of the Customer capture (affinity diagram and Kano model), building the six-room House of Quality, interpreting it for design priorities, the four-phase QFD cascade, and QFD in DFSS, DMAIC and services.

    What is the House of Quality?

    The House of Quality is the central QFD matrix that links customer requirements to measurable engineering characteristics, rates their relationships, flags design conflicts in the correlation roof, benchmarks competitors and sets engineering targets. You build one during the course.

    How long is the QFD course?

    The programme runs for one day (eight hours), covering all six QFD modules with concept explanations, real-world examples and hands-on House of Quality exercises throughout. It can also be delivered as two half-days.

    Are there hands-on exercises?

    Yes. You structure Voice of the Customer data, classify requirements with the Kano model, build a complete House of Quality, calculate column importance and identify design hot spots using realistic scenarios.

    What materials will I receive?

    You receive structured courseware, House of Quality templates and reference guides you can reuse on your own projects, plus a course completion record from Invensis Learning.
