    How many questions are on the PgMP exam and how long is it?

    The PgMP exam has 170 questions and a four-hour (240-minute) allotted time. It is closed book, with single-answer and multiple-answer multiple-choice questions, delivered online proctored via Pearson VUE OnVUE or at a Pearson VUE test centre.

    What are the PgMP exam domains and their weights?

    The exam covers five performance domains: Strategic Program Management (11 percent), Program Life Cycle Management (44 percent), Benefits Management (11 percent), Stakeholder Engagement (16 percent) and Governance (18 percent), based on the PgMP Examination Content Outline.

    What is the PgMP panel review?

    The panel review is a multi-rater assessment unique to PgMP. A panel of programme management practitioners evaluates your documented experience and competency. It is a mandatory step in addition to the written exam, and both must be passed to earn the credential.

    What is the passing score for the PgMP exam?

    PMI does not publish a fixed pass mark. The result is determined through psychometric analysis, and reported as Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement per domain, so focus on broad mastery across all five domains.

    What happens if I do not pass the exam?

    You are allowed up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility period from application approval. Re-examination fees apply to the second and third attempts. Our preparation resources and mock exams are designed to help you pass with confidence.

    What topics does the PgMP training cover?

    The training covers the five PgMP performance domains: Strategic Program Management, Program Life Cycle Management, Benefits Management, Stakeholder Engagement and Governance, plus PgMP application guidance, panel-review preparation and exam strategy.

    Which standard and edition is the training based on?

    The programme is aligned to the current PgMP Examination Content Outline and The Standard for Program Management, Fourth Edition, from PMI. The courseware reflects this 4th edition standard and the five performance domains it underpins.

    Are practice tests and mock exams included?

    Yes. The programme includes practice questions, full-length mock exams, an exam simulator and topic-wise quizzes aligned to the PgMP ECO, so you can identify weak areas and build readiness for the 170-question format.

    Do I need prior experience to take the training?

    Anyone can attend the training, but the PgMP exam requires substantial experience. Depending on your education, PMI requires 48 to 84 months of programme management experience within the last 15 years. An active PMP satisfies the project experience requirement.

    What materials and resources are provided?

    You receive PMI-aligned courseware, references to the PgMP Examination Content Outline and Handbook, a Standard for Program Management overview, templates, flashcards and chapter-wise quizzes to support your preparation.

    What are the eligibility requirements for the PgMP exam?

    PMI offers three sets: a secondary diploma with 48 months project and 84 months programme experience; or a four-year degree with 48 months each; or a GAC-accredited degree with 36 months each, all within 15 years. An active PMP covers the project experience.

    How do I enrol in the PgMP course in Zambia?
