What Is Lean Fundamentals Training?UntitledYour Practical Introduction to Lean
Lean Fundamentals Training in Portugal is a practical, one-day introduction to Lean management for professionals and teams who want to eliminate waste and improve how work flows. It gives you a working command of the five Lean principles, the eight wastes and the everyday tools that make continuous improvement real. Rooted in the Toyota Production System developed by Taiichi Ohno at Toyota, and codified as the five Lean principles by James Womack and Daniel Jones in Lean Thinking (1996), the course covers Identify Value, Map the Value Stream, Create Flow, Establish Pull and Seek Perfection. You learn to recognise the eight wastes using the DOWNTIME model and to apply 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Kanban, standard work and Kaizen to real situations. This is a non-certification skills course with no exam. It suits employees across Portugal's manufacturing, automotive, shared services and logistics sectors, and anyone stepping into a continuous improvement role. You finish with a course completion record from Invensis Learning and skills you can use straight away.
