    Scheduling Tool Skills Gap

Many teams still plan in spreadsheets that break as projects grow. Employers increasingly expect fluency in a dedicated scheduling tool, making trained Microsoft Project users stand out.

    Capital-Efficiency Pressure

Margin and capital discipline across IT services, manufacturing and BFSI push organisations to use resources tightly. Microsoft Project resource levelling and cost tracking support smarter allocation.

Is Microsoft Project training worth it in Poland?

Yes. Project management became a top-three most-in-demand role in Poland in early 2026, and employers across IT, business services, construction and BFSI expect fluency in a dedicated scheduling tool. Confident Microsoft Project skills make you faster, more credible and more employable.

You receive a course completion record from Invensis Learning after finishing the programme. This is skills training, so there is no external examination or formal credential involved; the value is the practical Microsoft Project capability you can apply straight away.

Should I take the Fundamentals or Advanced level?

Choose Fundamentals (2 days) if you are new to Microsoft Project or use it occasionally and want a solid grounding in scheduling and resources. Choose Advanced (3 days) if you already use it and want resource levelling, Earned Value, custom reports and multi-project management.

Which frameworks does Microsoft Project support?

    Pricing

How much does Microsoft Project training cost in Poland?

Fees vary by level (Fundamentals or Advanced), delivery format and group size. Pricing for public and corporate sessions is available on request. Contact a learning advisor for a tailored quote for individuals or teams.

What is included in the course fee?

The fee typically includes live instructor-led training across all modules, hands-on Microsoft Project exercises, structured courseware, templates and knowledge checks, learner support, and a course completion record. Ask us for the exact inclusions for your chosen format.

Do you offer group or corporate discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for project teams and PMOs across Poland. Request a group quote and we will tailor it to your team size and goals.

Do I need a Microsoft Project licence, and is it included?

You should have Microsoft Project installed and accessible on your device for the hands-on exercises. Microsoft Project is a separate product from Microsoft, available as Standard, Professional or Project Online within Microsoft 365. Ask us whether a trial licence is available for your session.

What payment and instalment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, and offer instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you or your organisation.

    Assessment

Is there an exam at the end of the course?

No. Neither the Fundamentals nor the Advanced level includes an examination. Learning is reinforced through live, hands-on Microsoft Project exercises using realistic project scenarios, so you build genuine proficiency during the training itself.

    How is my learning assessed?

There is no formal assessment. Instead, you practise every feature in Microsoft Project as it is taught, following realistic exercises. This applied approach means you leave able to use the tool on your own project plans rather than sitting a test.

What will I be able to do after the Fundamentals level?

You will be able to create a project and calendar, build a task list with summary tasks, subtasks and milestones, link tasks with dependencies and lag, identify the critical path, assign resources, set a baseline, track progress and generate built-in reports.

What will I be able to do after the Advanced level?

You will be able to apply task types correctly, run resource levelling, calculate and report Earned Value metrics, build custom fields, views and reports, manage master projects with cross-project links, and plan what-if scenarios using multiple baselines.

Are there prerequisites for the training?

Fundamentals has no formal prerequisites; basic familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office helps but is not required. For Advanced, you should have completed Fundamentals or have equivalent hands-on Microsoft Project experience.

    Course Content

What topics are covered in the training?

Fundamentals covers project setup, the work breakdown structure, task dependencies and the critical path, resources, and baseline setting, tracking and reporting. Advanced covers advanced scheduling, resource levelling, cost and Earned Value, custom reporting, and master projects and programme management.

    What learning materials are provided?

You receive structured courseware covering every module, hands-on exercise files using realistic project scenarios, reference guides, templates, and topic-wise knowledge checks to reinforce each Microsoft Project feature as you learn it.

Is the training hands-on or theory based?

It is hands-on throughout. You follow along in Microsoft Project while the trainer demonstrates each feature, then complete practical exercises on realistic scenarios so the learning sticks and transfers directly to your own projects.

    Can beginners take this course?

Yes. The Fundamentals level is designed for people new to Microsoft Project, with no formal prerequisites. You build confidence step by step, from creating a project to tracking progress, before moving on to the Advanced level if you wish.

Does the course cover Microsoft Project Online and Microsoft 365?

Yes, at Advanced level you cover exporting to Excel and integrating with Microsoft 365 tools such as SharePoint and Teams, plus an overview of Microsoft Project Online for enterprise project and portfolio management, alongside the desktop application.
