Group Jira training helps organisations build a consistent, disciplined delivery practice across software, IT and business teams. Training can be delivered for a single squad, a department or teams spread across Poland's delivery centres. For organisations that have adopted Jira but never fully configured it, this training closes the gap between having the tool and using it well.

    • Scale one way of working across distributed, multi-site teams

Where Jira Skills Take Your Career in PolandIn-Demand Roles and Real Pay

Jira proficiency, often built through structured Jira training, has become a practical differentiator across Poland's IT services firms, GCCs, banks and consultancies, which run large Agile portfolios and treat Jira as their standard delivery tool. As business service centres mature and Western European work nearshores to Krakow, Wroclaw and the Tri-City, employers increasingly want people who can configure, run and report on Jira, not just describe Agile in theory. Demand spans roles from Business Analyst and Jira Administrator to Scrum Master and Agile Project Manager, and here is what the market is telling us right now.

What Is Driving Demand for Jira Skills in Poland

Agile at Scale Across Service Centres

Poland's business service centres and GCCs run large Agile portfolios, and teams that use Jira consistently deliver far more predictably than those relying on ad hoc tracking.

This course builds board, sprint and reporting skills

Tool Skills Gap in a Tighter Market

IT job postings in Poland fell around 23% between 2023 and 2024, so employers increasingly shortlist candidates who can prove real Jira ability, not only Agile theory.

This course builds hands-on Jira proficiency

    Fragmented Workflows and Reporting

Many teams adopt Jira but never configure workflows, schemes or dashboards well, leaving managers without reliable velocity, burndown or flow data for decisions.

This course builds workflow and dashboard skills

    DevOps Delivery Visibility

As Polish tech and telecom teams connect code, builds and deployments, they need Jira linked to GitHub, Bitbucket and CI/CD to trace work from idea to release.

    This course builds integration skills

    Nearshoring Raises the Delivery Bar

Firms nearshoring to Krakow, Wroclaw and the Tri-City expect standardised Jira use so distributed teams share one source of truth across time zones.

This course builds a standardised Jira practice

    Manual Effort Slowing Teams Down

Repetitive status updates and hand-offs drain team capacity. Practitioners who master Jira Automation cut manual work and enforce process without extra headcount.

This course builds Jira Automation skills

    What Our Learners Say

    Untitled

From Lost to Confident on the Board

"I joined a team that runs everything in Jira and felt lost. After the Fundamentals level I could create issues, run the sprint board and read the burndown without asking for help. The live exercises made it stick."

    Michal Kowalski

Advanced Level Was a Step Change

"The Advanced level changed how I facilitate sprints. Workflows, schemes and automation finally clicked, and I now build dashboards the team actually uses. Practical and very well paced."

    Katarzyna Nowak

    JQL Finally Makes Sense

"JQL used to intimidate me. The trainer broke it down clearly, and I can now write queries and shared filters that answer real reporting questions from stakeholders. Worth the time."

    Consistency Across Our Squads

"We ran the corporate programme for two delivery squads and standardised how they use Jira. Boards, workflows and reporting are now consistent, and our managers finally trust the velocity data."

    Tailored, Practical and High Impact

"The onsite training was tailored to our real projects, which made adoption easy. Automation rules alone cut a lot of manual status updates for our teams. Strong facilitation and good follow-up support."

Frequently Asked QuestionsHere's everything you may ask...

JIRA Training is a practical, hands-on course that teaches you to use Atlassian Jira for Agile project management, issue tracking and team delivery. It suits software developers, testers, Scrum Masters, project managers, business analysts and aspiring Jira administrators, at Fundamentals and Advanced levels.

Yes. Jira is the standard delivery tool across Poland's IT services firms, GCCs and banks, so proven proficiency is a practical, everyday advantage. In a tighter hiring market, employers increasingly shortlist people who can genuinely operate Jira, not just describe Agile.

Take Fundamentals (2 days) if you are new to Jira or use it occasionally and want confident core skills. Take Advanced (3 days) if you already use Jira regularly and want to master workflows, schemes, automation, advanced JQL and administration. You can attend either alone or both in sequence.

No prior experience is needed for the Fundamentals level; basic familiarity with web applications is enough. For the Advanced level, you should have completed Fundamentals or have equivalent hands-on Jira experience. Talk to a learning advisor if you are unsure which level fits.

The course is built around Atlassian Jira, primarily Jira Cloud, with reference to Jira Data Center where relevant. You practise in a live Jira environment, so the skills transfer directly to your own workplace instance.

    General

What is JIRA Training and who is it for?

JIRA Training is a practical, hands-on course that teaches you to use Atlassian Jira for Agile project management, issue tracking and team delivery. It suits software developers, testers, Scrum Masters, project managers, business analysts and aspiring Jira administrators, at Fundamentals and Advanced levels.

Is JIRA Training worth it for professionals in Poland?

Yes. Jira is the standard delivery tool across Poland's IT services firms, GCCs and banks, so proven proficiency is a practical, everyday advantage. In a tighter hiring market, employers increasingly shortlist people who can genuinely operate Jira, not just describe Agile.

Should I take the Fundamentals or Advanced level?

Take Fundamentals (2 days) if you are new to Jira or use it occasionally and want confident core skills. Take Advanced (3 days) if you already use Jira regularly and want to master workflows, schemes, automation, advanced JQL and administration. You can attend either alone or both in sequence.

Do I need prior Jira experience to start?

No prior experience is needed for the Fundamentals level; basic familiarity with web applications is enough. For the Advanced level, you should have completed Fundamentals or have equivalent hands-on Jira experience. Talk to a learning advisor if you are unsure which level fits.

Which Jira platform does the course use?

The course is built around Atlassian Jira, primarily Jira Cloud, with reference to Jira Data Center where relevant. You practise in a live Jira environment, so the skills transfer directly to your own workplace instance.

    Pricing

How much does JIRA Training cost in Poland?

Pricing depends on the level, delivery format and group size, and is quoted locally. Request a quote for current fees for public or corporate sessions in Poland. A learning advisor can recommend the most cost-effective option for you or your team.

What is included in the course fee?

The fee includes instructor-led sessions, hands-on exercises in a live Jira environment, structured courseware and learning resources, knowledge checks, learner support and a course completion record from Invensis Learning.

Do you offer corporate or group pricing?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for software, IT and business teams across Poland. Contact us for a tailored group quote.

Do I need to buy Jira software separately?

Jira is an Atlassian product, separate from the training. Jira Cloud offers a free tier for up to 10 users that is ideal for practice. Check with us whether a shared training environment is provided or whether you should set up a free Jira Cloud trial before the course.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, with instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you, or ask about corporate billing for teams.

    Assessment

Is there an exam or certification for JIRA Training?

No. JIRA Training is a practical skills course, not a certification, so there is no test to sit and no external credential. Learning is reinforced through hands-on exercises, and you receive a course completion record from Invensis Learning.

What do I receive after completing the course?

You receive a course completion record from Invensis Learning confirming that you completed the Fundamentals or Advanced programme, along with practical, job-ready Jira skills you can apply immediately.

How is learning reinforced during the course?

Through continuous hands-on practice. You follow live demonstrations and complete exercises in a Jira environment using realistic Agile delivery scenarios, so you build proficiency by doing rather than by memorising.

Are the skills recognised by employers in Poland?

Yes. Jira is the delivery standard across Polish IT services, GCCs, telecoms and banking, so demonstrable Jira ability is valued in recruitment and on the job. The skills map directly to roles such as Scrum Master, Jira Administrator and Agile Project Manager.

How do I keep my Jira skills current after training?

Apply the skills on real projects, use the free Jira Cloud tier to practise new features, and progress from Fundamentals to Advanced as your responsibilities grow. Atlassian updates Jira Cloud regularly, so ongoing hands-on use keeps your knowledge fresh.

    Course Content

What will I learn in the Fundamentals level?

Fundamentals covers navigating Jira, creating Scrum, Kanban and business projects, managing the Epic, Story, Task, Bug and Subtask hierarchy, running sprints and the Kanban board, roadmaps and versions, filters, basic JQL and Agile reports such as velocity and burndown.

What does the Advanced level cover?

Advanced covers workflow design with conditions, validators and post-functions, permission, notification, screen and field schemes, custom fields, advanced JQL, dashboards, Jira Automation, DevOps integrations with GitHub and Bitbucket, and Jira administration.

What is JQL and is it covered in the course?

JQL (Jira Query Language) is Jira's structured search language for finding and reporting on issues. Fundamentals covers basic JQL and filters, while Advanced extends to functions, the CHANGED and WAS operators and shared filters that power dashboards.

Does the course include hands-on practice?

Yes. Both levels are hands-on throughout. You work in a live Jira environment alongside the trainer, configuring projects, boards, workflows and automation using realistic Agile software delivery scenarios.

How long is each level of the course?

Fundamentals runs for 2 days (16 hours) and Advanced for 3 days (24 hours). Both are available as full-day sessions or extended half-day formats. Ask about the current schedule for public and corporate sessions in Poland.

    Enrollment

How do I enrol in JIRA Training in Poland?

Choose your level and preferred format on the Invensis Learning website, complete your booking, and you will receive access to schedules, courseware and learning resources. A learning advisor can help you pick the right level and dates.

    What delivery formats are available?

The course is available as online (live virtual) instructor-led training, classroom training, onsite delivery and customised corporate group training, so you can choose the format that fits your schedule and team.

Can my whole team be trained together?

Yes. Corporate group training is delivered onsite, live virtual or hybrid, with schedules aligned to your team's availability and exercises based on your own Jira projects. Request a group quote to get started.

    When can I start?

New public sessions run regularly, and corporate dates can be arranged to suit your team. See upcoming schedules or talk to a learning advisor to confirm the next available Fundamentals or Advanced batch in Poland.

Can I reschedule my booking to another batch?

Yes. Flexible options let you reschedule or transfer to another batch where plans allow. Contact our support team to arrange a change to your enrolment.
