Is the PMP certification worth it in The Hague?

Yes. The PMP is valued by The Hague's energy, security, government, finance and technology employers, and senior project roles in the Netherlands command strong salaries, with Senior Project Manager averaging around €84,435 a year. It is the most globally recognised project management credential and often listed as preferred on senior roles.

What is the PMP certification and who is it for?

The Project Management Professional (PMP) is PMI's flagship credential and the global gold standard for project managers. It validates your ability to lead predictive, agile and hybrid projects and suits working project managers, team leads and delivery professionals ready to step up.

Which standard is the PMP based on?

The current PMP is based on PMI's PMBOK Guide 8th Edition and the PMP Examination Content Outline (ECO). The training covers project fundamentals, predictive plan-based methods, agile frameworks, business analysis and stakeholder engagement.

What are the prerequisites for the PMP?

There are two paths. Path A: a four-year degree, 36 months leading projects, and 35 contact hours of project management education. Path B: a secondary diploma, 60 months leading projects, and 35 contact hours. All applicants need the 35 contact hours, which the training provides.

How long is the PMP certification valid?

The PMP is valid for three years. To renew it, you earn 60 professional development units (PDUs) across the PMI Talent Triangle within each three-year cycle, with a minimum of eight PDUs in each area.

    Pricing

What is included in the PMP course fee?

The training fee typically includes PMI-aligned courseware built on the 8th edition, practice questions, mock exams, exam simulator access, downloadable templates, application guidance and learner support. The PMI exam fee is billed separately. Request a quote for the latest pricing.

How much does PMP training cost in The Hague?

Training pricing depends on the format you choose, such as live virtual, classroom or corporate group training. Contact a learning advisor for a tailored quote for The Hague and to ask about current offers.

Is the exam fee included in the training price?

No. PMI bills the PMP exam fee separately under regional pricing, and rates differ for PMI members and non-members. PMI membership can reduce the exam fee and includes access to the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition. Confirm current fees at pmi.org.

Do you offer group or corporate discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for project teams, departments and PMOs in The Hague. Ask about corporate or group pricing for a tailored quote.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, and offer instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Exam

What is the format of the PMP exam?

The PMP exam has 180 questions to be completed in 230 minutes, including two 10-minute breaks. It is closed book and uses multiple-choice, multiple-response, matching, hotspot and limited fill-in-the-blank questions, delivered online via Pearson VUE OnVUE or at a test centre.

What does the PMP exam cover?

Aligned to the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition, the exam covers project management fundamentals, predictive plan-based methodologies, agile frameworks, business analysis and strategic management, and stakeholder engagement and communication. Roughly half the content reflects agile or hybrid ways of working.

What is the passing score for the PMP exam?

PMI does not publish a fixed percentage pass mark. Your result is set through psychometric analysis and reported as pass or fail with domain-level feedback of Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement, so aim for broad mastery across all areas.

What if I do not pass the PMP exam first time?

You are allowed up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility period from application approval. Our mock exams, practice questions and revision support are designed to build your readiness so you sit the exam with confidence.

Where can I take the PMP exam?

You can take the exam online with Pearson VUE OnVUE proctoring from home or work, or at a Pearson VUE test centre. Scheduling is done through the Pearson VUE website or the PMI portal once your application is approved.

    Course Content

What will I learn in the PMP training?

You will learn to plan, execute and control projects across predictive, agile and hybrid approaches, covering scheduling, budgeting, risk, quality, business analysis and stakeholder engagement. The content maps to the current ECO and the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition.

Do I need prior experience to take this course?

You can enrol in the training at any experience level, and it provides the 35 contact hours of project management education you need. To sit the PMP exam, PMI also requires project leadership experience under Path A or Path B. Our team can help you check eligibility.

    What learning resources are provided?

You receive PMI-aligned courseware, references to the PMP Examination Content Outline, practice questions, full-length mock exams, an exam simulator, templates and topic-wise quizzes to reinforce learning and build exam readiness.

Is the courseware aligned with the latest PMP exam?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to PMI's PMBOK Guide 8th Edition and the current PMP Examination Content Outline, so you study the same standard and content areas your exam is based on.

Will I receive a certificate after the training?
