    How is learning assessed on this course?

    There is no formal test to pass. Learning is reinforced through lectures, interactive discussions, hands-on exercises and retrospective sessions. On completing the programme you receive a course completion certificate from Invensis Learning.

    Is this a certification course?

    No. This is a skills training course, not a certification, and it is not tied to any accrediting body. You receive a course completion certificate from Invensis Learning, and the training builds a strong foundation for credentials such as CAPM, PMP or PRINCE2.

    What will I be able to do after the training?

    You will be able to plan, run and close projects, manage scope, schedule, cost, risk and stakeholders, and apply both predictive and Agile approaches. These are skills you can put to work on real projects straight away.

    Do I get a certificate when I finish?

    Course Content

    What topics does the course cover?

    The course covers five modules: project management concepts, project influences, the role of the project manager, the full project management cycle, and an Agile projects overview. Together they span the project lifecycle from initiation to closure.

    The course runs over two days, 16 hours in total. It can be delivered as full days or as extended half-day sessions, with lectures, interactive discussions and hands-on exercises throughout.

    Yes. Alongside predictive, plan-based project management, the course includes an overview of Agile ways of working, such as release planning and the Scrum process, so you can contribute to both types of project.
