    What is the format of the PgMP exam?

    The PgMP exam is a closed-book, multiple-choice examination based on the PgMP Examination Content Outline and the Standard for Program Management, Fourth Edition. Questions are distributed across five performance domains and delivered via Pearson VUE online proctoring or a test centre.

    How many questions are on the PgMP exam and how long is it?

    The exam has 170 questions and an allotted time of four hours (240 minutes). It is closed book with single-answer and multiple-answer multiple-choice questions.

    What are the PgMP exam domains and their weights?

    There are five domains: Program Life Cycle Management (44%), Governance (18%), Stakeholder Engagement (16%), Strategic Program Management (11%) and Benefits Management (11%), as set out in the PgMP Examination Content Outline.

    What is the PgMP panel review?

    The panel review is a multi-rater assessment unique to the PgMP. A panel of programme management practitioners evaluates your documented experience and competency. It is mandatory in addition to the written exam, and both must be passed to earn the credential.

    What is the passing score and what if I do not pass first time?

    PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score rather than a fixed percentage, with domain-level feedback. You have up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility period, so focus on broad mastery across all five domains.

    Are practice questions and mock exams included?

    Yes. The programme includes practice questions, full-length mock exams and topic-wise quizzes mapped to the exam domains, helping you identify weak areas and build readiness for the 170-question format.

    Do you help with the PgMP application and experience documentation?

    Yes. Our trainers guide you on documenting your programme management experience for the PMI application and on preparing for the subject-matter-expert panel review, which are essential steps alongside the written exam.

    Will I receive a certificate and contact hours after the training?

    Yes. After meeting the course requirements you receive a course completion certificate along with 24 contact hours of instructor-led training, which also count as PDUs toward your professional development.

    What are the eligibility requirements for the PgMP?

    PMI offers three eligibility sets. With a four-year degree you need 48 months of project management experience (or an active PMP) plus 48 months of programme management experience within the last 15 years; a secondary diploma requires 84 months of programme experience.

    How do I enrol in the PgMP course?

    What training formats are available in Mozambique?
