    What is the format of the PRINCE2 Foundation exam?

    The Foundation exam is closed book with 60 single-answer multiple-choice questions to be completed in 60 minutes. It tests knowledge and comprehension of the PRINCE2 method across the eleven syllabus areas of the current 7th edition.

    What is the passing score for the exam?

    The pass mark is 60%, which means answering at least 36 of the 60 questions correctly. Because the exam is closed book, broad understanding of the principles, people, practices and processes is the best preparation.

    Are there any prerequisites to sit the exam?

    No. PRINCE2 Foundation has no formal prerequisites and is open to everyone, regardless of education, experience or prior project management knowledge. Attending accredited training is recommended to prepare you for the exam.

    Where can I take the PRINCE2 Foundation exam?

    You can sit the exam online through PeopleCert's OnVUE proctoring, available 24/7, or at an authorised test centre. It is often arranged through an accredited training provider as part of a training and exam package.

    What if I do not pass the exam the first time?
