    What if I do not pass the PfMP exam first time?

    You can retake it. PMI permits up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility period, with reexamination fees for the second and third attempts. Our training, mock exams and simulator are designed to build broad mastery so you are ready on exam day.

    What is the format of the PfMP exam?

    The PfMP exam is a closed-book, multiple-choice examination based on the PfMP Examination Content Outline and the Standard for Portfolio Management, Fourth Edition. It uses scenario-based questions across five performance domains.

    How many questions are on the PfMP exam and how long is it?

    The exam has 170 questions with a four-hour (240-minute) allotted time. Some items are unscored pretest questions that do not count towards your result, so you should aim for consistent performance across all domains.

    What are the five PfMP exam domains and their weights?

    The five domains are Strategic Alignment (25%), Governance (20%), Portfolio Performance (25%), Portfolio Risk Management (14%) and Communications Management (16%), each tested according to the current PfMP Examination Content Outline.

    Is there a fixed passing score?

    What training formats are available?
