    Plan and Implement Risk Responses

Develop response strategies for threats and opportunities, assign owners, set triggers and build contingency and fallback plans, then integrate reserves into the project schedule and budget.

    Monitor, Report and Close Risks

Track residual and secondary risks, run periodic risk reviews, report exposure to stakeholders and formally close risks, capturing lessons learned for future projects.

Prepare for the PMI-RMP Exam and Application

Get ready for the 115-question, closed-book exam with domain-focused practice, and receive guidance on documenting your experience and education for the PMI application.

Training fees are available on request and vary by format and schedule. The fee includes PMI-aligned courseware, practice questions, mock exams and application guidance. The PMI exam fee is billed separately in USD. Request a quote or speak to a learning advisor for current pricing.

How much is the PMI-RMP exam fee?

PMI bills the exam fee in USD under regional pricing, for reference around USD 520 for members and USD 670 for non-members. Actual fees vary, so confirm current amounts at pmi.org. PMI membership can reduce both the exam fee and renewal costs.

What is included in the PMI-RMP course fee?

    Exam

How many questions are on the PMI-RMP exam and how long is it?

The PMI-RMP exam has 115 questions and a duration of 2.5 hours (150 minutes). It is closed book and uses multiple-choice formats, including single-answer and multiple-answer questions.

What are the PMI-RMP exam domains and weights?

The exam covers five domains from the January 2022 ECO: Risk Strategy and Planning (20%), Risk Identification (20%), Risk Analysis (23%), Risk Response (22%) and Monitor and Close Risks (15%).

What is the passing score for the PMI-RMP exam?

PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score and does not publish a fixed percentage. Results are reported as pass or fail with domain-level feedback of Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement, so aim for broad mastery across all five domains.

What if I do not pass the exam the first time?

PMI allows up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility period. Re-examination fees apply to later attempts. Our exam-focused practice and domain guidance are designed to help you prepare thoroughly and reduce that risk.

Where can I take the PMI-RMP exam?

You can take the exam online through Pearson VUE's OnVUE proctored system or at a Pearson VUE test centre. Scheduling is done through PMI's portal or the Pearson VUE website within your eligibility window.

    Course Content

What are the eligibility requirements for PMI-RMP?

There are three sets. Set A: a secondary diploma plus 36 months of project risk experience in the last 5 years and 40 hours of risk education. Set B: a bachelor's degree plus 24 months and 30 hours. Set C: a GAC-accredited degree plus 12 months and 30 hours. Experience must be specifically in project risk.

Does this training meet the PMI-RMP education requirement?

Yes for most candidates. The programme provides 32 contact hours, which fully meets the 30-hour education requirement for Set B and Set C. Set A candidates need 40 hours and should add at least 8 more hours of risk management education.

Can a beginner to risk management take this course?

The course teaches the full framework from strategy to closing risks, so it supports learners new to formal risk practice. To sit the exam, however, PMI requires documented project risk experience, so review the eligibility sets before you apply.

What topics does the PMI-RMP training cover?

It covers the five ECO domains: risk strategy and planning, identification, analysis, response, and monitoring and closing risks, plus tools such as SWOT, Delphi, probability and impact matrices, Monte Carlo simulation, decision trees and expected monetary value.

Are practice tests and mock exams included?

Yes. The programme includes practice questions and full-length mock exams aligned to the 115-question, closed-book PMI-RMP format, plus topic-wise quizzes to help you identify weak areas and build readiness.
