What is the format of the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam?

The Practitioner exam has 56 questions and sub-questions worth 70 marks, completed in 150 minutes. It is open book, allowing the PRINCE2 manual, and uses scenario-based questions. The passing score is 60%, meaning 42 out of 70 marks.

What are the prerequisites for the Practitioner exam?

You need PRINCE2 Foundation, or an accepted equivalent such as PMP, CAPM or IPMA Level A to D, before sitting Practitioner. In the combined programme you take Foundation first, then progress to Practitioner.

Where can I take the PRINCE2 exams?

Both exams are delivered by PeopleCert, either online through the OnVUE proctored system available 24/7, or at an authorised test centre. They are typically arranged as part of your combined training and exam package.
