    Is there an exam at the end of the course?

    Yes. You receive a course completion certificate from Invensis Learning. It recognises that you have completed the training and built practical Microsoft Project skills you can apply at work straight away.

    How is my learning checked during the course?

    There is no formal assessment. Instead, you build proficiency by following along in Microsoft Project as the trainer demonstrates each feature, then completing practical exercises using realistic project data.

    Will this prepare me to use Microsoft Project at work?

    Can I take both levels one after the other?

    What topics does the Microsoft Project course cover?

    Fundamentals covers project setup, task scheduling, dependencies, the critical path, resources, baselines, progress tracking and reporting. Advanced adds resource levelling, cost and earned value management, custom views and reports, and master projects.

    What skills will I have after the training?

    You will be able to build and resource a schedule, link tasks and read the critical path, set baselines, track progress and variance, and produce project reports. Advanced learners can also level resources, calculate earned value and manage multi-project programmes.

    Is the training hands-on or theory based?

    It is highly hands-on. You work in Microsoft Project throughout, following the trainer through each feature and completing practical exercises on realistic project scenarios, so the learning stays applied and practical.

    How long is each level of the course?

    The Fundamentals level runs for 2 days (16 hours) and the Advanced level for 3 days (24 hours). Both are available as full-day sessions or extended half-day formats. Ask your advisor about current scheduling options.

    Does the course cover Project Online and Microsoft 365?
