The PfMP exam is a closed-book, computer-based, multiple-choice examination based on the PfMP Examination Content Outline and the Standard for Portfolio Management, Fourth Edition. Questions are scenario-based across the five performance domains.

How many questions are on the PfMP exam and how long is it?

The PfMP exam has 170 questions and an allotted time of four hours (240 minutes). It is delivered online via Pearson VUE OnVUE proctoring or at a Pearson VUE test centre.

What is the passing score for the PfMP exam?

PMI does not publish a fixed percentage pass mark. The result is determined through psychometric analysis, with domain-level feedback, so focus on broad mastery across all five portfolio management domains.

How do I schedule and book the PfMP exam from Latvia?

After your application is approved and you clear the subject-matter-expert panel review, schedule the exam through Pearson VUE, either at a test centre or via OnVUE online proctoring from home or office, within your one-year eligibility period.

What happens if I do not pass the exam first time?
