    What is the format of the two exams?

    Both exams are closed book with 40 multiple-choice questions and a 65% pass mark (26 of 40). The Foundation exam tests knowledge across 14 topic areas, while the Practitioner exam uses scenario-based questions across seven topic areas. Each lasts 60 minutes.

    How many exams are in the combined programme?

    There are two separate EXIN examinations: the Foundation exam and the Practitioner exam. You must sit and pass both to hold both credentials.

    Are there any prerequisites for the exams?

    The Foundation level has no formal prerequisites and is open to all. The Foundation Certificate is the recommended prerequisite before sitting the Practitioner exam.
