Do I need project experience to take the CAPM?

No. The CAPM is the only PMI practitioner credential that requires no work experience. You need a secondary degree and 23 hours of project management education, which this training provides in full.

How long is the CAPM certification valid?

The CAPM is valid for three years. Unlike the PMP, you renew it by retaking and passing the CAPM exam rather than by earning PDUs.

What standard is the CAPM based on?

The CAPM is based on the CAPM Examination Content Outline effective 2023 and is aligned to the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition and the Agile Practice Guide, covering predictive, agile and hybrid approaches.

How is the CAPM different from the PMP?

The CAPM is entry level and needs only 23 hours of education, while the PMP is advanced and needs 36 to 60 months of project leadership experience. The CAPM is the natural first step toward the PMP.

How much does CAPM training cost in Latvia?

CAPM training fees in Latvia vary by format and schedule and are available on request. The fee covers instructor-led sessions, courseware, practice questions and mock exams. The PMI exam fee is billed separately. Request a quote for current pricing.

What is included in the course fee?

The training fee typically includes 24 hours of instructor-led education, PMI-aligned courseware, practice questions, mock exams and learner support, plus a course completion certificate. The PMI exam fee is not included.

How much is the CAPM exam fee?

For reference, PMI charges around USD 225 for members and USD 300 for non-members. Actual fees vary, so confirm current pricing at pmi.org. PMI membership costs about USD 139 a year and reduces the exam fee.

Are group or corporate discounts available?

What does the CAPM exam cover?

The CAPM exam covers four domains from the 2023 Examination Content Outline: Project Management Fundamentals and Core Concepts (36%), Predictive Plan-Based Methodologies (17%), Agile Frameworks and Methodologies (20%) and Business Analysis Frameworks (27%).

How many questions are on the CAPM exam and how long is it?

The CAPM exam has 150 multiple-choice questions and lasts three hours (180 minutes). It is closed book, with single-answer and multiple-answer question formats.

Where can I take the CAPM exam?

You can take the exam online through Pearson VUE's OnVUE proctoring from home or office, or at a Pearson VUE test centre. Scheduling is done through PMI's portal or Pearson VUE.

Is there a fixed passing score?

PMI does not publish a fixed pass mark. Your result is set through psychometric analysis and reported as pass or fail, with performance feedback across the four CAPM domains, so aim for broad mastery of all four.

How many attempts do I get and what if I fail?

You get up to three attempts within a one-year eligibility period from application approval. Re-examination fees apply to later attempts. Our prep, practice questions and mock exams are designed to help you pass first time.

How do I become eligible to sit the exam?

You need a secondary degree, such as a high school diploma or global equivalent, and at least 23 hours of project management education completed before the exam. This 24-hour programme meets that requirement in full.

Yes. The CAPM and this training are designed for beginners with no project experience. Trainers explain concepts from the ground up and use practical examples, so you can follow along and apply what you learn.

How many hours of training does the course provide?

The programme delivers 24 hours of instructor-led project management education, which exceeds the 23 hours PMI requires and fully satisfies the CAPM education prerequisite.

What learning materials are included?

You receive PMI-aligned courseware, practice questions, full-length mock exams, quizzes and reference materials mapped to the CAPM Examination Content Outline and the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition.
