    General

Is the PRINCE2 Practitioner certification worth it in Luxembourg?

Yes. PRINCE2 Practitioner is a globally recognised AXELOS and PeopleCert credential valued across Luxembourg's banking, funds, ICT and public sectors, where controlled, auditable delivery matters. Project manager roles average around EUR 80,000, with senior and PMO bands reaching well above EUR 115,000.

What is PRINCE2 Practitioner and who is it for?

PRINCE2 Practitioner validates your ability to apply and tailor PRINCE2 principles, practices and processes to a given project scenario. It is designed for project managers and aspiring project managers who want to manage projects using PRINCE2, and it is the advanced credential above Foundation.

Which edition of PRINCE2 does the training cover?

The training is aligned to the PRINCE2 7th Edition (2023) and the PRINCE2 7 Practitioner syllabus. PRINCE2 7 introduced the People capability, renamed Themes to Practices, and added sustainability, digital and commercial considerations.

Do I need PRINCE2 Foundation before Practitioner?

Yes. PRINCE2 Foundation is required, or an accepted equivalent such as PMP, CAPM or IPMA Level A/B/C/D. Verify current accepted equivalents on peoplecert.org before you apply.

How long is the PRINCE2 Practitioner certification valid?

PRINCE2 Practitioner is valid for three years. You can renew by retaking and passing the Practitioner exam, completing CPD via a PeopleCert MyAxelos subscription, or passing a higher-level PRINCE2 qualification.

    Pricing

How much does PRINCE2 Practitioner training cost in Luxembourg?

Training is quoted per format and cohort, and is available on request. The fee typically bundles courseware, scenario practice and exam preparation. The PeopleCert exam fee varies by region and channel and is confirmed on peoplecert.org. Request a quote for current pricing.

What is included in the course fee?

The fee typically includes structured courseware aligned to the PRINCE2 7 Practitioner syllabus, scenario-based practice, open-book exam technique, mock questions and learner support. Confirm exact inclusions and exam voucher options when you request a quote.

Is the exam fee included in the training price?

It depends on the package. Some bundles include the PeopleCert exam voucher and some price it separately. PeopleCert exam pricing varies by region and purchasing channel, so confirm current fees on peoplecert.org or ask a learning advisor.

Do you offer group or corporate pricing?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for PMOs and delivery teams across Luxembourg. Contact us for a tailored group quote.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major cards and bank transfers, and instalment options are available on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Exam

What is the format of the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam?

It is an open-book, scenario-based objective test. The PRINCE2 Managing Successful Projects 7th Edition manual is permitted, and questions require analysis and judgement rather than simple recall, so efficient manual navigation and deep method knowledge both matter.

How many questions are on the exam and how long is it?

The exam has 56 questions and sub-questions worth 70 marks, and you have 150 minutes (2 hours 30 minutes) to complete it.

What is the passing score for PRINCE2 Practitioner?

The pass mark is 60%, which means at least 42 out of 70 marks. Focus on applying and tailoring PRINCE2 across all nine syllabus areas rather than memorising content.

Where can I take the exam in Luxembourg?

You can sit the exam online through PeopleCert's OnVUE proctored system, available 24/7, or at a PeopleCert authorised test centre. It is usually arranged through your accredited training package.

What if I do not pass the exam the first time?

You can resit the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam. Our preparation focuses on scenario practice and open-book technique to help you pass first time, and a resit can be booked through PeopleCert. Verify the current resit policy on peoplecert.org.

    Course Content

What topics does the PRINCE2 Practitioner training cover?

The training covers the nine Practitioner syllabus areas: principles, practices and processes, plus key roles, people management, sustainability and ESG, digital and data management, effective communication, and tailoring PRINCE2 to your needs.

Can a PRINCE2 Foundation holder take this course?

Yes. The Practitioner course is designed for Foundation holders and holders of accepted equivalents. It builds on Foundation knowledge with scenario-based practice in applying and tailoring the method.

How much practical, scenario-based work is included?

A great deal. Because Practitioner tests application and analysis, the programme is built around realistic multi-stage project scenarios and practice questions that mirror the open-book exam style.

Is the courseware aligned to the latest PRINCE2 syllabus?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the PRINCE2 7th Edition (2023) and the current PRINCE2 7 Practitioner syllabus published by PeopleCert and AXELOS.

What language is the training delivered in?

Training is delivered in English, which suits Luxembourg's international workforce. For corporate groups, delivery can be arranged to fit your team's needs. Ask a learning advisor about options.

    Enrollment

How soon can I start and how do I enrol?

You can enrol through the Invensis Learning website. Choose your preferred format, complete payment, and you receive access to schedules, courseware and learning resources. See upcoming batches or talk to a learning advisor to get started.

    What training formats are available?

We offer live virtual (online) instructor-led training, classroom training and customised corporate group training, so you can choose the format that fits your schedule and learning style.

What are the prerequisites to enrol?

To sit the exam you need PRINCE2 Foundation or an accepted equivalent such as PMP, CAPM or IPMA. You can begin training while arranging your prerequisite; a learning advisor can help you plan the route.

Can I reschedule or transfer my enrolment?

Yes. Flexible options let you reschedule or transfer to another batch on selected plans. Contact support to arrange this.
