    Build stakeholder and scope skills

    Open Finance and Data Access

FiDA and open-finance rules will reshape how institutions share and use data, creating demand for analysts who can define data requirements and model new information flows.

Pay capped with limited leverage to negotiate in a high-value market

    After certification

Business analyst roles in Luxembourg average around €108,000, with senior bands reaching much higher

    Today

Shortlisted less often for roles that list a BA credential as preferred

    After certification

Eligible for analyst roles across banking, funds, fintech and consulting

    Today

Capable in parts, but without an end-to-end, proven method

    After certification

Confident applying BA techniques to compliance and transformation programmes

    You earn both credentials

    Before

Analysis skills that rest on experience alone, with no formal proof

    Now you have

Two BCS-quality-assured credentials recognised across Luxembourg's financial centre and beyond

    Before

Gaps between knowing concepts and applying them on real projects

    Now you have

A clear route from Foundation understanding to applied Practitioner technique

    Before

A narrow toolkit that struggles with complex, regulated change

    Now you have

The techniques employers want: requirements, modelling, stakeholder and business-case skills

    Before

Recognition that fades when you change employer or sector

    Now you have

A globally recognised credential that travels across sectors and borders

"In a market driven by regulation and digital change, the difference between doing analysis and being a recognised analyst is a credential employers already trust."

Frequently Asked QuestionsHere's everything you may ask...

It is a two-level business analysis credential from EXIN, developed in partnership with BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT. The Foundation Certificate validates knowledge of business analysis concepts and techniques, while the Practitioner Certificate validates your ability to apply them in real project scenarios.

    General

What is the EXIN BCS Business Analysis Foundation and Practitioner certification?

It is a two-level business analysis credential from EXIN, developed in partnership with BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT. The Foundation Certificate validates knowledge of business analysis concepts and techniques, while the Practitioner Certificate validates your ability to apply them in real project scenarios.

Who should take this business analysis course?

It suits aspiring business analysts, IT professionals moving into analysis, project managers, product owners and practising analysts who want recognised proof of their skills. In Luxembourg it is popular with people in banking, funds, fintech and consulting. There are no formal prerequisites for the Foundation level.

Is this certification recognised in Luxembourg?

Yes. EXIN operates in over 165 countries and BCS is the UK's chartered professional body for IT, so the credentials are recognised across Luxembourg, Europe and beyond. They are valued by financial-sector employers running large compliance and transformation programmes.

Is the EXIN BCS Business Analysis certification worth it?

Yes. Certified business analysts in Luxembourg earn strong salaries, averaging around €108,000 and reaching higher at senior level, and demand is fuelled by DORA, PSD3 and digital change. The dual credential proves both knowledge and applied technique, which employers actively seek.

How long are the certifications valid?

Both the Foundation and Practitioner certifications are for lifetime. Neither expires, and there is no renewal, re-examination or continuing-education requirement once you pass.

    Pricing

How much does the training cost in Luxembourg?

Fees vary by format, whether live virtual, classroom or corporate group training, and by the exam bundle included. Pricing is available on request. Speak with a learning advisor for a tailored quote for your chosen schedule.

What is included in the course fee?

The fee typically includes BCS-aligned courseware, industry case studies, practice questions and mock exams for both levels, first-attempt guidance, and learner support. Confirm the exact inclusions, including exam vouchers, when you enquire.

Are the exam fees included in the price?

EXIN exam vouchers are often bundled with accredited training, but inclusion varies by package. EXIN pricing also varies by region and channel. Ask us to confirm whether the Foundation and Practitioner exam fees are included in your quote.

Do you offer corporate or group discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for change teams, IT and business units, and mixed project groups. Contact us for a tailored group quote.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major cards and bank transfers, with instalment options on selected plans. Talk to a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Exam

What is the format of the Foundation and Practitioner exams?

Both are closed-book exams delivered online with proctoring or at accredited test locations. The Foundation exam uses single-answer multiple-choice questions, while the Practitioner exam is scenario-based, presenting realistic project situations that require applied judgement.

How many questions are there and how long is each exam?

Each exam has 40 questions and lasts 60 minutes. You must sit and pass both separate exams to hold both credentials.

    What is the passing score?

The passing score is 65% for both exams, meaning 26 out of 40 questions correct. The result is pass or fail against that threshold.

What are the prerequisites for each level?

The Foundation Certificate has no formal prerequisites and is open to all. The Foundation Certificate is the recommended prerequisite for the Practitioner level, which is why the combined programme covers both in sequence.

What happens if I do not pass the first time?

You can re-sit the relevant EXIN exam; verify the current re-sit policy and any fee at exin.com. Our training includes first-attempt guidance and mock exams for both levels to help you prepare thoroughly.

    Course Content

What topics does the course cover?

The course covers the full EXIN BCS syllabus, aligned to the BCS Business Analysis Body of Knowledge: business analysis concepts, strategy analysis, investigation techniques, stakeholder management, process and requirements modelling, solution definition and business-case development.

What business analysis techniques will I learn?

You will learn requirements elicitation and MoSCoW prioritisation, BPMN process modelling, use case and data modelling, stakeholder analysis with power/interest grids and RACI, PESTLE and SWOT, and investment appraisal such as NPV, ROI and payback.

Is the courseware aligned to the latest specification?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the official EXIN BCS Foundation and Practitioner Examination Specifications and the BCS Business Analysis Body of Knowledge, so you prepare against current, accredited content.

Can a beginner take this, or do I need prior experience?

Beginners are welcome. The Foundation level assumes no prior business analysis knowledge, and the course builds from concepts to applied practice, so those new to the field and experienced practitioners can both benefit.

    What materials are provided?

You receive BCS-aligned courseware, industry-driven case studies, practice questions and mock exams for both levels, and supporting learning resources to reinforce each topic.

    Enrollment

How do I enrol in the course in Luxembourg?

You can enrol through the Invensis Learning website. Choose your preferred format, complete payment, and you will receive access to schedules, courseware and learning resources. Talk to a learning advisor if you need help choosing a batch.

    What training formats are available?

We offer live virtual instructor-led training, classroom sessions, and customised corporate group training. This includes online (live virtual) options so you can train from anywhere in Luxembourg on a schedule that fits you.

    How soon can I start?

New cohorts run regularly across live virtual and classroom formats. Check upcoming schedules for the next available batch, or ask an advisor about the soonest start date that fits your plans.

Can I reschedule or transfer my enrollment?

Yes. Flexi options let you reschedule or transfer to another batch on selected plans. Contact support to arrange a change to your enrolment.

What is the refund or cancellation policy?

Refunds and cancellations follow our published policy, and selected plans include a money-back option. Reach out to our team for the details that apply to your enrolment.
