What You Gain by Earning the CredentialValue for Professionals and Employers

    For Individuals

    For Individuals

Certified PMP training turns years of hands-on delivery into a credential that hiring managers in Luxembourg recognise on sight. You learn to plan, execute and control work across predictive and agile approaches, and to explain that work in the language sponsors and regulators use. Whether you lead ICT change in a bank, coordinate fund migration work, or run capital projects in industry, the credential validates the judgement you already apply and makes the next role easier to reach.

If your goal is a senior delivery role in Luxembourg, the PMP is the clearest signal you can send. You leave with exam readiness, PMI application guidance, and a delivery toolkit you can use on Monday morning.

    • Strengthens earning power in a market where project managers average around EUR 80,000 a year
    • Opens senior roles: senior project manager, programme manager and PMO manager
    • Signals proven capability, since PMI requires documented project leadership experience
    • Builds fluency in predictive, agile and hybrid delivery, the mix Luxembourg employers now run
    • Adds a globally portable credential recognised in more than 200 countries
    • Prepares you for regulatory and transformation programmes such as DORA remediation

    For Organizations

    For Organizations

Group training equips whole delivery teams with a single, PMI-aligned method for planning, governing and reporting projects. Teams stop improvising and start working from a common playbook. For organisations in Luxembourg running multi-year regulatory, digitalisation and infrastructure work, that consistency shortens delivery cycles and makes portfolio reporting far more reliable.

If your projects slip because every manager works a different way, team training fixes the root cause. You gain standardised practice, measurable capability, and delivery leaders who can hold a programme together under pressure.

    • Creates one shared delivery language across predictive and agile teams
    • Reduces value leakage by tightening scope, schedule and cost control
    • Improves risk and compliance readiness on regulatory programmes
    • Standardises project governance across business units and locations
    • Builds an internal bench of credentialed delivery leaders
    • Supports bids and client contracts that ask for certified project managers
    • Gives sponsors consistent, comparable project reporting

Market Forces Driving Demand for Certified Project Leaders

    Regulatory Programmes Running Long

Around half of financial entities expect full DORA compliance only by 2026 or 2027. These multi-year resilience programmes need disciplined project governance, not improvisation.

Build governance and risk control skills

A Scarce Tech and Regulation Profile

Luxembourg needs leaders who understand both ICT infrastructure and financial regulation, and who work in English and French. That hybrid profile is thin, so credentialed delivery leaders stand out.

Prove delivery capability with a PMI credential

    Fund Industry Digitalisation

Fund administrators and depositaries are automating operations and adopting AI. These projects mix plan-based migration work with agile product build, exactly the split the exam tests.

Learn predictive and agile delivery together

    Cross-Border, Multilingual Delivery

Teams in Luxembourg routinely span several countries, languages and time zones. Weak stakeholder communication is a leading cause of slippage, and it is a full exam domain in its own right.

    Master stakeholder engagement and communication

    Strategy to Delivery Disconnect

Boards fund transformation, then struggle to show the benefit landed. Business analysis and strategic management is now a dedicated exam domain because employers need that link closed.

Connect business analysis to project value

    Agile Adopted Without Discipline

Many organisations have adopted sprints without the governance to match, leaving delivery unpredictable. Certified managers bring structure back without losing the speed.

Apply Scrum, Kanban and hybrid models properly

Build and control a plan end to end: charter, WBS, critical path scheduling, budget baselines, quality planning, procurement, integrated change control and earned value management. This is the largest domain at 28% and the backbone of regulated, capital and infrastructure projects.

    Agile Frameworks and Methodologies

Run iterative delivery with confidence: Scrum roles, events and artefacts, Kanban flow and WIP limits, Lean thinking, XP practices, backlog management, velocity, and burndown reporting. Agile is a dedicated domain worth 27% of the exam and a daily reality in Luxembourg's digital teams.

    Business Analysis and Strategy

Connect projects to the outcomes that fund them. You will practise needs assessment, requirements elicitation, user stories and acceptance criteria, business case development, and benefits tracking through KPIs. This domain accounts for 18% of the exam.

    Stakeholder Engagement and Communication

Identify, analyse and engage stakeholders, tailor communication to each audience, manage expectations and resolve conflict across virtual and cross-cultural teams. Worth 12% of the exam, and the skill set that most often decides whether a programme lands.

    Exam Readiness and PMI Application

Practise against the 180-question, 230-minute format with its multiple-choice, matching, hotspot and fill-in-the-blank items. You also get guidance on documenting project leadership experience and education for the PMI application.

    What Our Learners Say

    Untitled

Passed First Time and Moved Up

"The trainer walked us through the agile domain in a way that finally clicked, and the mock exams matched the real question styles closely. I passed on my first sitting and moved into a senior project manager role at my bank three months later."

    Julien Weber

    Untitled

    Turned Experience into a Credential

"I had run projects for years without a credential. The application guidance alone was worth it, since documenting my experience hours was the part I dreaded. The predictive and business analysis sessions are now part of how I plan every engagement."

    Marie Schroeder

    Untitled

    Fitted Around a Full Workload

"Live online sessions in the evening meant I did not lose a working day. Strong coverage of stakeholder engagement, which is the hardest part of running a project across three countries and two languages."

    Tom Reuter

One Method Across the Whole PMO

"We put eleven delivery leads through the programme ahead of a large resilience programme. The team now plans, escalates and reports the same way, and our steering packs have improved noticeably. Coordination with the trainer was straightforward throughout."

    Anne Faber

Tailored to Our Sector and Schedule

"As an L and D lead I needed training that worked for a bilingual, cross-border team. Invensis Learning tailored the case studies to our sector and scheduled onsite sessions around our delivery calendar. Certification results and manager feedback both came back positive."

    Who should take PMP training?

How long is the certification valid?

    Pricing

What is included in the training fee?

Your fee covers instructor-led sessions with an accredited trainer, PMI-aligned courseware, practice questions and mock exams built to the current exam format, guidance on the PMI application, and post-training support. Training fees in Luxembourg are quoted in euros and available on request. Request a quote for your preferred format.

Is the PMI exam fee included in the course price?

No. PMI bills the exam fee separately in USD, and it is paid directly to PMI when you apply. PMI members pay a lower exam fee than non-members, and membership also gives you free access to the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition. Confirm current fees on pmi.org before applying.

Do you offer corporate or group pricing?

Yes. We offer group pricing for teams, PMOs and business units, with customised schedules and onsite or live online delivery. Ask about corporate and group pricing for a tailored quote.

Does PMI membership reduce the overall cost?

Yes. PMI membership lowers the exam fee, reduces the renewal fee, and includes access to the PMBOK Guide and the Agile Practice Guide. Membership is billed annually by PMI, so check the current rate on pmi.org.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, and instalment options are available on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

Are there extra costs after certification?

Yes, renewal. You pay a PMI renewal fee every three years and must earn 60 PDUs in that cycle. Members pay less than non-members. Verify the current renewal fee on pmi.org.

    Exam

What if I do not pass the exam on the first attempt?

You get up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility window, and a re-examination fee applies to each retake. Our trainers review your domain feedback report with you and target the weak areas before you sit again, so the second attempt is a focused one.

How many questions are on the PMP exam and how long is it?

The exam has 180 questions and runs for 230 minutes, which is 3 hours 50 minutes, including two scheduled 10-minute breaks. Question types include multiple choice with single and multiple answers, matching, hotspot and limited fill-in-the-blank items.

What are the PMP exam domains and their weights?

The current Examination Content Outline, aligned to the PMBOK Guide Eighth Edition, has five domains: Project Management Fundamentals and Core Concepts (15%), Predictive Plan-Based Methodologies (28%), Agile Frameworks and Methodologies (27%), Business Analysis and Strategic Management (18%), and Stakeholder Engagement and Communication (12%).

    What is the passing score?

PMI does not publish a fixed numeric pass mark. The passing score is determined psychometrically, and your result is reported as pass or fail with domain-level feedback of Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement.

Where can I sit the exam in Luxembourg?

You can take it online through Pearson VUE's OnVUE proctoring system from home or the office, or at a Pearson VUE test centre. Scheduling is done through PMI's portal or the Pearson VUE website once your application is approved.

What are the eligibility requirements to sit the exam?

Two paths. With a four-year degree you need 36 months of leading projects plus 35 contact hours of project management education. With a secondary school diploma you need 60 months of leading projects plus the same 35 contact hours.

    Course Content

Can I take this course if I am new to formal project management?

You can attend the training at any experience level, and it starts from first principles before building to advanced material. To sit the PMI exam, though, you must meet the experience requirement of 36 or 60 months of leading projects depending on your education. Our advisors can check where you stand.

What topics does the course cover?

The programme covers all five domains of the current Examination Content Outline: fundamentals and core concepts, predictive plan-based methodologies, agile frameworks, business analysis and strategic management, and stakeholder engagement and communication, plus exam strategy and PMI application guidance.

Is the courseware aligned to the latest standard?

Yes. The courseware follows PMI's current Examination Content Outline and the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition, with reference to the Agile Practice Guide for the agile domain.

Does the course cover agile as well as waterfall?

Yes, and heavily. Agile frameworks and methodologies is a dedicated domain worth 27% of the exam, covering Scrum, Kanban, Lean, XP and hybrid models, alongside a 28% predictive domain covering scheduling, earned value and change control.

Are practice tests and mock exams included?

Yes. You get practice questions mapped to the domains and full-length mock exams built to the 180-question, 230-minute format, so you rehearse the pacing and question types before exam day.

Do the training hours count towards the 35 contact hours PMI requires?

Yes. Instructor-led hours completed in the programme count towards PMI's 35 contact hours of project management education. Depending on the schedule you choose, supplementary self-study may be needed to reach the full 35 hours, and your advisor will confirm this before you enrol.

    Enrollment

How soon can I start and how do I enrol?

You can enrol on the Invensis Learning website and join the next available batch, with weekday and weekend schedules running regularly. Choose your format, complete payment, and you receive access to schedules, courseware and trainer details. See upcoming batches or talk to a learning advisor.

What training formats are available in Luxembourg?

We offer instructor-led PMP training online in live virtual classrooms, in-person classroom sessions, and customised corporate group training delivered onsite or remotely for teams in Luxembourg.

Do you run weekend batches for working professionals?

Yes. Weekend and weekday evening batches are available so you can prepare without taking time out of a full working week in Luxembourg. Check the schedule page for the next available dates.

How do I apply to PMI after the training?

Create a PMI account, document your project leadership experience and your project management education, and submit the online application. PMI reviews applications and may select some for audit. Our trainers guide you through documenting experience before you submit.

Can I reschedule or move to another batch?

Yes. You can reschedule or transfer to a later batch, and selected plans let you attend the training again. Contact our support team to arrange it.

What is the refund or cancellation policy?

Refunds and cancellations are handled under our published policy, and selected plans include a money-back option. Reach out to our team for the terms that apply to your enrolment.
