    Assessment

    Is there an exam for this course?

    No. This is a non-certification course with no examination. Learning is reinforced through lectures, interactive discussions, hands-on exercises and retrospective sessions rather than a formal test.

    How is my learning assessed?

    There is no formal assessment or pass mark. You build and demonstrate understanding through practical exercises and discussions during the two-day programme, and receive a course completion certificate on finishing.

    What credential do I receive?

    You receive a course completion certificate from Invensis Learning recognising your learning achievement. It is not a certification from an accrediting body, as the course is not tied to one.

    Does the course expire or need renewal?

    No. There is nothing to maintain or renew. The skills you learn are immediately applicable and do not expire, so you can keep using them throughout your career.

    Course Content

    What topics does the course cover?

    The course covers five modules: project management concepts, project influences, the role of the project manager, the full project management cycle, and an Agile projects overview, spanning initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and closure.

    Can a complete beginner take this course?

    Yes. The training is built for beginners and starts from first principles, with no prerequisites. Hands-on exercises and trainer guidance help you apply concepts even if you are new to project work.

    Does it cover Agile as well as traditional project management?

    Yes. Alongside predictive, plan-based methods, the course includes an Agile overview covering release planning and the Scrum process, plus business-analysis approaches, so you understand different ways of working.

    How long is the course and what format is it?

    The course runs over two days (16 hours) as interactive, instructor-led training with lectures, discussions and hands-on exercises. A half-day schedule spread over four days is also available.

    You receive structured courseware and resources created by subject matter experts, along with practical exercises and case discussions that reinforce each module and support real-world application.
