    Exam

What is the format of the CAPM exam?

The CAPM exam is a closed-book, multiple-choice examination based on the CAPM Examination Content Outline effective 2023 and aligned to the PMBOK Guide Eighth Edition. It is delivered through Pearson VUE OnVUE online proctoring or at a Pearson VUE test centre.

What does the CAPM exam cover?

Is there a fixed passing score for the CAPM exam?

No fixed percentage is published. PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score and reports results with performance feedback across the four CAPM domains, so aim for broad mastery rather than a single number.

What if I do not pass the CAPM exam the first time?

You get up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility period from application approval. Re-examination fees apply to later attempts. Our practice questions, mock exams and revision support are designed to help you prepare thoroughly.
