    Is there an exam for Microsoft Project training?

    Do I get a certificate after the training?

    Yes. You receive a course completion certificate from Invensis Learning after finishing the Fundamentals or Advanced programme. It recognises the practical Microsoft Project skills you have built.

    How is my learning assessed during the course?

    There is no formal assessment. You practise continuously through guided, hands-on exercises in Microsoft Project, so you build genuine proficiency by using the tool rather than sitting a test.

    How long is the training?

    Fundamentals is delivered over two days (16 hours) and Advanced over three days (24 hours). Both are available as full-day or extended half-day formats. Confirm current schedules when you enrol.

    Will I be able to use Microsoft Project confidently afterwards?

    Yes. The course is built around doing, not watching, so by the end you can create schedules, manage resources and track progress independently in Microsoft Project.

    What topics does the Fundamentals level cover?

    Fundamentals covers project setup and calendars, building the work breakdown structure, task dependencies and the critical path, work, material and cost resources, baselines, progress tracking and built-in reports.

    What does the Advanced level cover?

    Advanced covers task types and advanced scheduling, resource levelling and pools, cost management and earned value, custom fields, views and reports, master projects and cross-project links, and what-if scenario planning.

    Does the course cover resource management and earned value?

    Yes. Fundamentals introduces resource types, assignment and over-allocation, while Advanced adds resource levelling, resource pools, budget resources and earned value metrics such as SPI and CPI.

    Which version of Microsoft Project does the course use?

    The course teaches Microsoft Project across its editions, including the desktop Standard and Professional applications and the cloud-based Project Online in Microsoft 365. Confirm the specific version used for your session when you enrol.
