    Is learning Jira worth it in Croatia in 2026?

    Yes. Jira is the dominant Agile delivery tool, and Croatia's software sector, concentrated in Zagreb, keeps growing with Agile practice expected as standard. Confident Jira skills make you more effective day to day and more mobile across employers such as software product firms, IT services and telecoms.

    Do I need Jira experience before I start?

    Not for the Fundamentals level, which is designed for people new to Jira. The Advanced level assumes you have completed Fundamentals or have equivalent hands-on Jira experience. Basic familiarity with Agile or project management ideas helps but is not required.

    What is the difference between the Fundamentals and Advanced levels?

    Fundamentals is a 2-day course covering navigation, projects, issues, Scrum and Kanban boards, sprints, roadmaps, filters, basic JQL and Agile reports. Advanced is a 3-day course adding workflow design, schemes, custom fields, advanced JQL, dashboards, automation and integrations. You can take either or both.

    Which Jira product does the training cover?

    The training focuses primarily on Jira Software, the Agile project management product for Scrum and Kanban teams, and gives an overview of Jira Service Management for ITSM. Learning runs on a live Jira Cloud environment, the most widely used deployment.

    Is JIRA training a certification or a skills course?

    JIRA training is a practical skills course, not a certification. There is no exam and no external awarding body. You build job-ready Jira skills through live exercises, and Invensis Learning provides a course completion record when you finish.

    Will I receive anything on completing the training?

    Yes. You receive a course completion record from Invensis Learning after finishing each level. It confirms the practical Jira skills you have built, which you can apply immediately at work.

    How is my learning assessed during the course?

    There is no formal assessment. Learning is reinforced through hands-on Jira exercises and configuration activities throughout each programme, so you practise every feature as you go using realistic Agile delivery scenarios.

    Is there a governing body behind this training?

    No. This is a vendor-neutral skills course with no governing body or accreditation. It is built around the Atlassian Jira platform and Agile delivery practice, so you learn the tool and how to apply it, not a formal credential.

    What will I be able to do after the training?

    After Fundamentals you can create projects, manage issues, run Scrum and Kanban boards, plan releases and use JQL and Agile reports. After Advanced you can also design workflows and schemes, build automation, create dashboards and connect Jira to your DevOps toolchain.

    Across the two levels you cover project setup, the epic to subtask issue hierarchy, Scrum and Kanban boards, sprints, roadmaps and versions, filters and JQL, Agile reports, workflow and scheme design, custom fields, dashboards, automation, integrations and Jira administration.

    What will I learn in the Fundamentals level?

    Fundamentals covers navigating Jira, creating Scrum, Kanban and business projects, managing issues, running sprints on the Scrum board, using the Kanban board with WIP limits, planning with roadmaps and versions, and building filters, basic JQL and Agile reports.

    What does the Advanced level add?

    Advanced adds custom workflow design with conditions, validators and post-functions, permission, notification, screen and field schemes, custom fields, advanced JQL, dashboards, Jira automation rules, integrations with Confluence, Bitbucket, GitHub and CI/CD, and Jira administration.

    Are the sessions hands-on?

    Yes. Both levels are exercise-led. The instructor demonstrates each feature while you follow along in a live Jira environment, practising with realistic Agile software delivery and project scenarios so the skills stick.

    What learning resources are provided?

    You receive structured courseware, hands-on exercises, reference guides and templates, plus post-training support. Materials follow the Fundamentals and Advanced module structure so you can revise and apply what you learned at work.
