Frequently Asked QuestionsHere's everything you may ask...

PRINCE2 (PRojects IN Controlled Environments) is a structured project management method owned by AXELOS and examined by PeopleCert. This combined course covers both levels: Foundation confirms your understanding of the method, and Practitioner proves you can tailor and apply it. It is built on the current PRINCE2 7th Edition (2023).

    General

What is the PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner certification?

PRINCE2 (PRojects IN Controlled Environments) is a structured project management method owned by AXELOS and examined by PeopleCert. This combined course covers both levels: Foundation confirms your understanding of the method, and Practitioner proves you can tailor and apply it. It is built on the current PRINCE2 7th Edition (2023).

Why choose Invensis Learning for PRINCE2 training in Ghana?

Invensis Learning is an accredited provider offering PeopleCert-aligned courseware, experienced trainers, flexible formats and guided preparation for both PRINCE2 7 exams. We help you move from study to certified with a clear, supported path.

    Is PRINCE2 recognised in Ghana?

Yes. PRINCE2 is recognised globally and valued by employers across Ghana in telecom, banking, oil and gas, mining and the public sector, as well as by donor-funded and NGO programmes that often require it for project managers.

Who should take this PRINCE2 course?

It suits aspiring and practising project managers, delivery leads formalising their experience, and team members working in PRINCE2 environments. Foundation has no prerequisites, so beginners can confidently start here.

How long are the PRINCE2 certifications valid?

Both the Foundation and Practitioner certifications are valid for three years. You renew by earning 60 CPD (Continuing Professional Development) points within each three-year cycle, or by re-sitting the exam. Confirm current renewal options at peoplecert.org.

Is PRINCE2 worth it for my career in Ghana?

Yes. PRINCE2 signals the structured delivery capability Ghanaian employers increasingly seek. Project manager roles average around GH₵ 75,100 a year with senior bands far higher, and certified professionals report stronger job security and pay. Talk to a learning advisor to plan your path.

    Pricing

How much does PRINCE2 training cost in Ghana?

Training fees vary by format (live virtual, classroom or corporate) and are available on request. The PeopleCert exam fees for Foundation and Practitioner are billed separately. Request a quote for current pricing and upcoming batches.

What is included in the course fee?

The training fee typically includes accredited courseware, practice questions, mock exams, exam simulator access, downloadable templates, exam preparation support and learner support, plus a course completion certificate.

Are the exam fees included in the training price?

Exam fees are set by PeopleCert and billed separately under regional pricing. Our advisors can confirm the current Foundation and Practitioner fees and guide you through booking both exams.

Do you offer group or corporate discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for project teams, PMOs and departments. Contact us for a tailored quote for your organisation.

    What payment methods are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, and offer instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Exam

What is the format of the PRINCE2 Foundation exam?

The Foundation exam has 60 multiple-choice questions, lasts 60 minutes, and is closed book. The pass mark is 60% (36 out of 60). It tests your knowledge and comprehension of the PRINCE2 7 method.

What is the format of the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam?

The Practitioner exam has 56 questions and sub-questions worth 70 marks, lasts 150 minutes, and is open book (the PRINCE2 manual is permitted). The pass mark is 60% (42 of 70). It is scenario-based, testing how you apply and tailor PRINCE2.

How many exams are in the combined programme?

There are two separate PeopleCert exams: Foundation first, then Practitioner. You must sit and pass both to hold both credentials. The combined course prepares you for each in one journey.

Do I need to pass Foundation before Practitioner?

Yes. PRINCE2 Foundation, or an accepted equivalent such as PMP, CAPM or IPMA, is the prerequisite for the Practitioner exam. Foundation itself has no formal prerequisites and is open to all.

Where can I take the PRINCE2 exams?

You can take both exams online through PeopleCert's OnVUE proctoring, available 24/7, or at an authorised test centre. Exams are typically arranged as part of your training and exam package.

What if I do not pass the first time?

You can re-sit the exam. Selected plans include retake support and a Flexi Pass, and our trainers help you target weak areas before you re-attempt so you approach the exam with confidence.

    Course Content

Can a beginner take this PRINCE2 course?

Yes. Foundation has no prerequisites and the course starts from first principles, so beginners and those new to PRINCE2 can follow it. Practical examples and guided practice build your confidence for both exams.

What topics does the training cover?

The training covers the seven PRINCE2 principles, the People capability, the seven practices (business case, organising, plans, quality, risk, issues and progress) and the seven processes, plus tailoring and exam strategy for both levels.

What is new in PRINCE2 7?

The PRINCE2 7th Edition (2023) introduces the People capability as a core element, renames themes as practices, and integrates agile, sustainability and commercial management across the method.

    What learning materials are provided?

You receive accredited courseware, practice questions, full-length mock exams, an exam simulator, downloadable templates, quizzes and flashcards, all aligned to the current PRINCE2 7 syllabus.

Is the courseware aligned to the latest syllabus?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the PRINCE2 7 Foundation and Practitioner syllabus and the PRINCE2 Managing Successful Projects manual, 7th Edition (2023).

    Enrollment

How soon can I start and how do I enrol?

You can enrol through the Invensis Learning website, choose your format, and receive access to schedules and materials. Live virtual batches run regularly. Talk to an advisor to confirm the next available cohort.

    What training formats are available?

We offer online (live virtual) instructor-led training, classroom training, self-paced e-learning, and customised corporate group training, so you can choose the format that fits your schedule and learning style.

What are the eligibility requirements to enrol?

Anyone can enrol in the training. You can sit the Foundation exam with no prerequisites, while the Practitioner exam requires PRINCE2 Foundation or an accepted equivalent qualification.

Can I reschedule or transfer my enrolment?

Yes. Flexi options let you reschedule or transfer to another batch, and selected plans include a Flexi Pass to attend the training twice. Contact support to arrange this.

What is the refund or cancellation policy?

Refunds and cancellations are handled per our published policy, and selected plans include a money-back guarantee. Reach out to our team for the details that apply to your enrolment.
