Pricing depends on the delivery format (online live virtual, classroom or corporate onsite) and group size, so the fee is available on request. Contact a learning advisor for a current quote tailored to how you want to learn.

What is included in the course fee?

The fee covers instructor-led training across all six QFD modules, hands-on House of Quality exercises, learning materials and templates, and a course completion certificate. There is no separate exam fee because the course is non-certification.

Do you offer group or corporate pricing?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with volume-based pricing and customised schedules for product, engineering and quality teams. Request a group quote and we will tailor the delivery to your organisation.

Are there discounts for training a team in Chile?

Yes. Group and onsite delivery for teams in Chile is priced by cohort size, which is usually more cost-effective per learner than individual seats. Talk to us about corporate pricing for your team.

How can I pay for the training?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, and offer instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Assessment

Is there an exam for the QFD course?

No. QFD training is a non-certification course with no examination. Your learning is reinforced through hands-on House of Quality construction, case study examples and team discussion during the programme.

How is learning assessed during the training?

Learning is assessed through practical activity rather than a test. You build and interpret a House of Quality, classify requirements with the Kano model, and calculate design priorities during guided exercises, so you demonstrate the skills as you learn them.

What do I receive after completing the course?

You receive a course completion certificate from Invensis Learning once you finish the programme. It recognises that you have completed practical QFD training; it is not an external certification, as none exists for this methodology.

Is a governing body or accreditation involved?

No. QFD has no formal awarding body or accreditation. The training is grounded in the established QFD methodology and the House of Quality developed by Yoji Akao and Shigeru Mizuno, so it teaches recognised practice without an exam or credential.

How long is the QFD training?

The course is delivered as a one-day, eight-hour programme covering all six QFD modules, from foundations and the Voice of the Customer through House of Quality construction, interpretation, four-phase cascading and QFD in Six Sigma and services, with hands-on exercises throughout.

    Course Content

What topics does the QFD training cover?

The training covers QFD foundations and the business case, capturing and structuring the Voice of the Customer, building the House of Quality, interpreting the matrix, cascading QFD through four phases, and applying QFD in Design for Six Sigma, DMAIC and service design.

Will I learn to build the House of Quality?

Yes. You build all six rooms of the House of Quality step by step: customer requirements, engineering characteristics, the relationship matrix, the correlation roof, competitive benchmarking and engineering targets, using realistic product and service examples.

Does it cover the Voice of the Customer and the Kano model?

Yes. The course teaches how to collect and structure the Voice of the Customer using affinity diagrams and a three-level requirement hierarchy, and how to classify requirements with the Kano model into must-be, performance and delighter needs.

Is QFD applicable to services as well as products?

Yes. While QFD began in manufacturing, the course covers its use in services such as healthcare, financial services and IT, and in software development. The House of Quality applies anywhere customer requirements must be translated into design or delivery specifications.

    Are hands-on exercises included?

Yes. Hands-on exercises run throughout the day, including Voice of the Customer structuring, Kano classification, full House of Quality construction, importance calculations and identifying design hot spots and conflicts.

    Enrollment

How do I enrol in the QFD training?

You can enrol in the Quality Function Deployment course online through the Invensis Learning website. Choose your preferred format, complete payment, and you will receive access to the schedule, courseware and learning resources. A learning advisor can help you pick the right option.

    What delivery formats are available?

The course is available as online live virtual instructor-led training, in-person classroom training, and corporate onsite delivery. Choose the format that fits your schedule and learning preference.

When can I start the QFD training?

New sessions run regularly in live virtual and classroom formats, and corporate cohorts are scheduled to suit your team. See upcoming schedules or talk to a learning advisor to book the next available date.

Can you deliver the course onsite for our team in Chile?

Yes. We deliver QFD training onsite for cross-functional teams across Chile, tailored to your products and sectors. Teams often build a House of Quality for one of their own products during the session, creating immediate value.
