How much does PgMP training cost in Botswana?

What is included in the PgMP course fee?

Is the PMI exam fee included in the training price?

No. PMI bills the PgMP exam fee separately in USD under regional pricing, around USD 800 for members and USD 1,000 for non-members for reference. PMI membership of about USD 139 per year can lower the exam cost. Verify current fees at pmi.org.

What is the format of the PgMP exam?

The PgMP exam is a closed-book, multiple-choice examination based on the PgMP Examination Content Outline and PMI's Standard for Program Management, Fourth Edition. Questions span five performance domains and are delivered online proctored or at a Pearson VUE test centre.

How many questions are on the PgMP exam and how long is it?

The PgMP exam has 170 questions and an allotted time of four hours. Results are reported with domain-level feedback rather than a fixed percentage score.

What are the five PgMP exam domains and their weights?

The five domains are Strategic Program Management (11%), Program Life Cycle Management (44%), Benefits Management (11%), Stakeholder Engagement (16%) and Governance (18%), per the current PgMP Examination Content Outline.

What is the PgMP panel review?

The panel review is a multi-rater assessment unique to PgMP. A panel of programme management practitioners evaluates your documented experience. Both the panel review and the written exam must be passed to earn the credential.

What if I do not pass the PgMP exam the first time?

PMI allows up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility period. Reexamination fees apply to later attempts. Our mock exams, domain-wise practice and trainer support are designed to build your readiness before exam day.

Which standard is the PgMP training based on?

Do I need experience or prior certification to benefit?

PgMP is a senior credential, so it suits professionals with substantial programme experience. An active PMP satisfies the project management experience requirement across all three eligibility sets. The training builds on your experience toward the exam and panel review.

Are practice tests and mock exams included?

Yes. The programme includes practice questions, full-length mock exams and topic-wise quizzes mapped to the five domains, helping you identify weak areas and build confidence for the 170-question exam.

Will I receive a certificate of completion?

Yes. After meeting the course requirements you receive a course completion certificate along with the contact hours earned through the programme, which also count toward your PMI application and PDUs.

What are the eligibility requirements for the PgMP exam?

PMI offers three sets. With a secondary diploma you need 48 months of project experience or PMP plus 84 months of programme experience; with a four-year degree you need 48 months of project experience or PMP plus 48 months of programme experience, all within the past 15 years.
