What Is Driving Change Management Demand in Bermuda

    Constant Regulatory Change

Bermuda's re/insurers and banks face rolling change from the Payment Services Act, economic-substance rules and PIPA, so organisations need practitioners who can turn regulation into adopted practice.

Turn regulation into adopted new ways of working

    Digital and Insurtech Transformation

Insurtech, RegTech and digital-asset initiatives are reshaping how Bermuda firms operate, and technology only delivers value when people adopt it, exactly where certified change managers add impact.

    Drive adoption of new technology

    Scarce Certified Change Talent

Bermuda's small, specialised workforce is deep in underwriting and actuarial skill but thin in formally certified change professionals, making Foundation and Practitioner holders stand out.

Stand out with a recognised credential

    Operating-Model Redesign

Reinsurers restructuring around new capital, catastrophe and pricing models must move teams through significant transition, demanding structured stakeholder engagement and resistance management.

    Lead teams through major transition

    Data-Protection Culture Shift

PIPA has made privacy everyone's responsibility, requiring behaviour and culture change across departments that trained change practitioners are best placed to lead.

    Embed behaviour and culture change

    Lean Teams, High Change Load

On a small island, professionals juggle multiple concurrent changes, raising the risk of change saturation and making capacity and adoption planning a real business need.

Frequently Asked QuestionsHere's everything you may ask...

It is a globally recognised, two-level qualification that validates your ability to manage the people and culture side of organisational change. Foundation proves your knowledge of change concepts and models, and Practitioner proves you can apply them to real organisational change scenarios.

    General

What is the Change Management Foundation and Practitioner certification?

It is a globally recognised, two-level qualification that validates your ability to manage the people and culture side of organisational change. Foundation proves your knowledge of change concepts and models, and Practitioner proves you can apply them to real organisational change scenarios.

Who should take this course in Bermuda?

It suits project managers, HR and OD practitioners, programme and transformation leads, consultants and sponsors of change, particularly across Bermuda's insurance, reinsurance and financial services sector. There are no formal prerequisites to begin the Foundation level.

Is the Change Management certification recognised in Bermuda?

Yes. It is recognised in over 150 countries and valued by Bermuda employers running regulatory, digital and operating-model change, including re/insurers, banks and professional-services firms.

Which standard and body is the certification based on?

The qualification draws on the Change Management Body of Knowledge (CMBoK) published by the Change Management Institute, and is aligned to the current Change Management Practitioner Guide and the Foundation and Practitioner exam syllabi.

Is the Change Management certification worth it?

Yes. It gives you a transferable, employer-respected credential and the practical skills to lead adoption, both in strong demand across Bermuda's change-heavy economy. Certified change and transformation roles here typically command six-figure BMD salaries.

How long is the certification valid?

Validity and any renewal requirements can vary, so we recommend confirming the current policy at the time of enrolment. The models and skills you gain remain valuable throughout your career.

    Pricing

How much does Change Management training cost in Bermuda?

Fees vary by delivery format and group size, so pricing is available on request in Bermudian dollars (BMD). The package typically bundles training and preparation for both exams. Request a quote for current pricing and upcoming batches.

What is included in the course fee?

The fee typically includes syllabus-aligned courseware, case studies, mock exams and practice questions, open-book exam technique, and learner support for both the Foundation and Practitioner exams. Confirm exact inclusions when you enrol.

Are the exam fees included in the price?

Exam voucher inclusion can vary by package, so confirm this when you enrol. Talk to a learning advisor and we will set out exactly what your fee covers.

Do you offer corporate or group discounts?

Yes. We offer customised corporate group training with volume-based pricing for teams and departments across Bermuda. Ask about group pricing for a tailored quote.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major cards and bank transfers, with instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Exam

How many exams are in the combined programme?

There are two separate exams. You sit the Foundation exam first, then the Practitioner exam, and you must pass both to hold both credentials.

What is the format of the Foundation exam?

The Foundation exam is closed book with 50 multiple-choice questions in 40 minutes. The pass mark is 50%, which is 25 out of 50 questions correct.

What is the format of the Practitioner exam?

The Practitioner exam is open book, with the Change Management Practitioner Guide permitted. It has 5 scenario-based sections worth 16 marks each, 80 marks in total, over 2.5 hours. The pass mark is 50%, which is 40 out of 80 marks.

What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

You may use the Change Management Practitioner Guide during the exam, but the scenario questions need analysis and judgement, so you cannot simply look up answers. Efficient guide navigation and solid method knowledge both matter.

Do I need to pass Foundation before Practitioner?

Yes. Change Management Foundation, or an accepted equivalent, is required before you sit the Practitioner exam. The combined programme prepares you for both levels in sequence.

What if I do not pass on the first attempt?

You can re-sit the exam, and our trainers provide guidance and practice to help you prepare. Confirm the current re-sit policy and any fees when you enrol.

    Course Content

What topics does the Change Management course cover?

It covers five topic areas: Change and the Individual, Change and the Organisation, Communication and Stakeholder Engagement, Change Practice, and Personal and Professional Management, at both awareness and applied levels.

Which change models will I learn?

You will learn widely used models including ADKAR, Bridges' Transition Model, Lewin's Three-Step Model, Kotter's 8-Step Model, the McKinsey 7-S Framework, Schein's culture model and Cialdini's principles of influence.

Can a beginner take this course?

Yes. Foundation has no formal prerequisites and starts from first principles, so it suits newcomers as well as experienced professionals. The Practitioner level then builds applied skill on that base.

What materials and practice are provided?

You receive syllabus-aligned courseware, case studies, mock exams, practice questions and open-book exam technique, plus guidance to help you apply the models in real organisational settings.

How long is the training and how is it delivered?

The combined programme runs for 40 hours, delivered as live virtual (online) instructor-led sessions or in-house for teams, with schedule formats that suit working professionals in Bermuda.

    Enrollment

How do I enrol in the Change Management course in Bermuda?

You can enrol through the Invensis Learning website or by speaking with a learning advisor. Choose your format, complete payment, and you will receive access to schedules, courseware and resources. See upcoming batches to get started.

    What training formats are available?

We offer live virtual (online) instructor-led training, in-house corporate group training, and focused one-to-one options, so you can choose what fits your schedule and goals.

When do the next batches start?

New batches run regularly across suitable time zones for Bermuda. Contact us or view upcoming schedules for the next available dates.

Do I need any experience to enrol?

No. Anyone can enrol, as the Foundation level has no formal prerequisites. The course is designed to take you from the basics through to applied Practitioner-level competence.

Can I reschedule or transfer my enrolment?

Yes. Selected plans let you reschedule or transfer to another batch. Contact our support team and we will help you arrange it.
