It is aligned to the CMBoK and the Change Management Practitioner Guide.

    General

What is the Change Management Foundation and Practitioner certification?

It is a globally recognised, two-level qualification that validates your ability to manage the people and culture side of organisational change. Foundation covers change management concepts and models at knowledge level, while Practitioner validates applying them to realistic change scenarios. It is aligned to the CMBoK and the Change Management Practitioner Guide.

Who should take Change Management certification training in Adelaide?

It suits project and programme managers, HR and OD professionals, consultants, and leaders who guide organisational change. In Adelaide it is especially valuable for people working on defence, public sector, health and digital transformation programmes where managing adoption is critical.

Is the Change Management certification recognised in Australia?

Yes. The Change Management qualification is recognised internationally, including across Australia, and is well respected in markets where organisational change is an established discipline. Adelaide employers in defence, government, health and financial services value certified change practitioners.

Is the Change Management qualification worth it?

Yes, if you want to lead change and prove it. Change manager roles in Adelaide average around A$132,500 per year, with senior change managers reaching well beyond, and demand is rising as major transformation programmes grow. The credential makes your capability visible to employers.

How long are the Change Management certifications valid?

Validity and any renewal requirements are confirmed by Invensis Learning at the time of enrolment. The qualification recognises your knowledge and applied change management competence across both levels. Contact a learning advisor for the current details.

    Pricing

How much does Change Management certification training cost in Adelaide?

Pricing varies by delivery format and whether exam vouchers are included, so a current fee is available on request. The combined programme is typically purchased as a training and dual-exam package. Request a quote for the option that fits you.

What is included in the course fee?

The fee typically includes instructor-led training across both levels, CMBoK-aligned courseware, industry case studies, mock exams and practice questions, and learner support. Exam voucher inclusion is confirmed at enrolment. Ask a learning advisor for a full inclusions list.

Are the exam fees included in the training price?

Exam voucher inclusion depends on the package you choose and is confirmed at the time of enrolment. Many providers bundle both the Foundation and Practitioner exam vouchers into the combined programme. Contact us to confirm what your package includes.

Do you offer corporate or group discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for PMOs, transformation teams and business units in Adelaide. Get a group quote for your team.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, with instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the payment option that suits you.

    Exam

How many exams are in the combined programme?

There are two separate exams. You sit and pass the Foundation exam first, then the Practitioner exam, to hold both credentials. The combined programme prepares you for both, typically with Foundation content early in the course and Practitioner content following.

What is the format of the Change Management Foundation exam?

The Foundation exam has 50 multiple-choice questions with a single answer each, taken closed book in 40 minutes. The pass mark is 50 percent, meaning 25 out of 50 correct. It is delivered by online proctoring or at an authorised test centre.

What is the format of the Practitioner exam?

The Practitioner exam is open book, using the Change Management Practitioner Guide, and runs for 2.5 hours. It has five scenario-based sections worth 16 marks each, for 80 marks in total. The pass mark is 50 percent, meaning 40 out of 80 marks.

What is the passing score for each exam?

Both exams require 50 percent to pass. That is 25 out of 50 questions on the Foundation exam and 40 out of 80 marks on the Practitioner exam. The training builds broad mastery across the five topic areas so you are ready for both.

What if I do not pass an exam on the first attempt?

You can re-sit the exam that you did not pass. Re-sit fees and policies are confirmed by Invensis Learning at enrolment, and our training and mock exams are designed to help you pass both levels first time. Ask a learning advisor about retake options.

    Course Content

What topics does the Change Management syllabus cover?

The syllabus covers five topic areas: Change and the Individual, Change and the Organisation, Communication and Stakeholder Engagement, Change Practice, and Personal and Professional Management. Foundation teaches them at knowledge level and Practitioner at applied, scenario level.

Which change management models will I learn?

You will learn established frameworks including ADKAR, Bridges' Transition Model, Lewin's Three-Step Model, Kotter's 8-Step Model, McKinsey 7-S and Schein's culture model, plus Cialdini's principles of influence and Goleman's emotional intelligence domains.

Do I need prior experience to take this course?

No. Change Management Foundation has no formal prerequisites and is open to everyone. To take the Practitioner level you first need the Foundation certification, which the combined programme covers in sequence, so beginners are welcome to start with us.

Is the courseware aligned to the current standard?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the Change Management Body of Knowledge (CMBoK) maintained by the Change Management Institute and the current Change Management Practitioner Guide, along with the official Foundation and Practitioner exam syllabi.

Are practice questions and mock exams included?

Yes. The programme includes practice questions and mock exams for both the Foundation and Practitioner levels, plus industry case studies. These help you build open-book exam technique and identify where to focus before each sitting.
