    Exam

What is the format of the CAPM exam?

The CAPM exam has 150 questions to be completed in three hours (180 minutes). It is closed book with multiple-choice questions, delivered via Pearson VUE OnVUE online proctoring or at a Pearson VUE test centre, and is based on the CAPM Examination Content Outline effective 2023.

What does the CAPM exam cover?

The exam covers four domains from the current CAPM Examination Content Outline: Project Management Fundamentals and Core Concepts (36%), Predictive Plan-Based Methodologies (17%), Agile Frameworks and Methodologies (20%), and Business Analysis Frameworks (27%).

Is there a fixed passing score for CAPM?

PMI does not publish a fixed percentage pass mark. Your result is determined through psychometric analysis, and performance is reported across the four CAPM domains. The best approach is broad mastery of all four domains rather than targeting a single number.

What if I do not pass the CAPM exam the first time?

You are allowed up to three attempts within the one-year eligibility period from application approval. Our mock exams, quizzes and trainer guidance are designed to build your readiness so you can approach the exam with confidence.

Where can I sit the CAPM exam in Canberra?

You can take the CAPM exam at a Pearson VUE test centre or from home or the office using Pearson VUE OnVUE online proctoring. Scheduling is done through PMI's portal or the Pearson VUE website within your one-year eligibility period.
