    Is there an exam at the end of the course?

    No. Project Management Fundamentals is a non-certification course with no exam. Learning is reinforced through lectures, interactive discussions, hands-on exercises and retrospective sessions rather than a formal test.

    What will I receive on completing the course?

    On completing the programme you receive a course completion certificate from Invensis Learning that recognises your learning achievement. The practical skills you gain apply immediately at work and do not expire.

    How is my learning assessed?

    Course Content

    What topics does the course cover?

    The course covers five modules: project management concepts, project influences, the role of the project manager, the project management cycle, and an Agile projects overview. Together they span the full lifecycle from initiation to closure.

    What will I learn in Project Management Fundamentals?

    You will learn to plan and control scope, schedule, cost and resources, manage risk, quality and stakeholders, handle change, procurement and closure, and understand when to use predictive or Agile approaches.

    How long is the course?

    The course runs over two days, a total of 16 hours. It can be delivered as full days or as extended half-days depending on the schedule, with lectures, discussions and hands-on exercises.

    Does the course cover Agile?

    Yes. Alongside predictive, plan-based methods, the course includes an Agile projects overview covering Agile release planning and the Scrum process in brief, so you understand both ways of working.
