What You Gain by Becoming PMP CertifiedValue for Professionals and Employers

    For Individuals

    For Individuals

The credential answers the question every hiring manager asks: can this person be trusted with a project that matters. It validates 36 months of leading projects, structured study, and a rigorous exam, so your experience is no longer something you have to argue for in an interview. It fits project managers, team leads and functional managers in Ukraine who already run delivery but lack a formal, portable mark of competence. Whether you work in an IT services company, a construction or energy business, a bank, or a reconstruction programme, the credential converts what you already do into recognised capability.

If you want to move from project execution into project leadership, this is the clearest route. You leave with exam readiness, PMI application support, and delivery skills that transfer across sectors, employers and borders.

    • Earn the credential employers treat as the benchmark for senior project roles
    • Command stronger pay, with certified project leaders reporting a clear premium
    • Qualify for senior project manager, PMO and delivery manager openings
    • Lead predictive, agile and hybrid projects with one shared vocabulary
    • Carry a credential recognised in more than 200 countries, useful for remote and EU-facing work
    • Win credibility on donor-funded and international recovery programmes
    • Prove your delivery experience with PMI's independent assessment
    • Build the business analysis and stakeholder skills the updated exam now weights heavily
    For Organizations

    For Organizations

Group training gives an organisation one delivery method instead of several. Teams plan, escalate and report the same way, which is what makes portfolios of concurrent projects predictable rather than surprising. For Ukrainian IT services firms, engineering and energy companies, banks and public bodies running recovery work, PMI-aligned training is a practical way to lift delivery maturity across a whole function at once.

If your projects slip because every manager runs them differently, team training creates a shared standard for planning, risk and stakeholder engagement. Delivery becomes measurable, and reporting to clients, boards and funders becomes straightforward.

    • Standardise delivery language across distributed and hybrid project teams
    • Cut rework and slippage with disciplined scope, schedule and risk control
    • Meet the governance and reporting standards donors and international clients expect
    • Build an internal bench of credentialed leaders for larger programmes
    • Blend predictive and agile approaches without losing control of the plan
    • Improve estimating and forecasting with earned value and benchmark data
    • Strengthen bids where clients specify certified project managers
    • Train teams together with schedules that fit Ukrainian working hours

Project Management Careers and Pay in UkraineRoles the Credential Opens Up

Ukraine is running more complex projects than it has certified people to lead. IT services firms deliver hybrid projects for global clients, energy and construction companies rebuild under pressure, banks modernise core systems, and recovery programmes funded by the EU and international lenders demand governance that stands up to audit. That mix pushes demand well past the project coordinator level and into senior project manager, PMO manager and delivery manager roles, where the credential is often the shortlisting filter. Here is what the market is paying.

Why Ukraine Needs Certified Project Leaders Now

    Reconstruction at Unprecedented Scale

Ukraine's recovery need is assessed at close to USD 588 billion over a decade, with more than USD 15 billion prioritised for 2026 alone. Work at that scale fails without rigorous project control.

Build disciplined scope, schedule and cost control

Donor Money Comes with Governance Rules

EU, World Bank and EBRD financing carries strict reporting, audit and benefits-tracking obligations. Employers need project leaders fluent in the governance language international funders expect.

Learn the governance the exam tests

Public Projects Move to a Mandated Platform

DREAM is becoming the legally mandated system for managing public investment projects across central, regional and local government, raising the bar for structured project data and transparent reporting.

Standardise how you plan and report

    Global Clients Expect Hybrid Delivery

Ukraine's IT services sector serves international clients who want agile responsiveness and predictive certainty at once. The updated exam weights predictive and agile content almost equally.

Master predictive and agile in one credential

Energy and Infrastructure Under Constant Risk

Grid repair, decentralised generation and logistics projects run to tight deadlines with volatile conditions. Structured risk identification, response and escalation is the difference between recovery and delay.

    Strengthen risk and stakeholder skills

    Credentialed Project Leaders Are Scarce

Ukraine has one of Central and Eastern Europe's deepest engineering talent pools, but far fewer PMI-credentialed leaders. Certified candidates are visible in a market crowded with unverified experience.

Stand out in a thin candidate pool

Ukraine is short of project leaders who can hold scope, schedule, cost and risk together on work that cannot afford to fail. The PMP is how you prove you are one of them. Start your preparation with Invensis Learning.

    Your Ukraine Career Transformation

From Delivering Tasks to Leading the Whole Project

    The Shift the Credential Makes

Ukraine's project market is dividing into two groups: people who deliver what they are given, and people trusted to own the outcome. Reconstruction, energy resilience and a hybrid-delivery IT sector are widening the gap. Here is which side of it you want to be on.

    Today

Pay anchored near the coordinator and mid-level band with little negotiating leverage

    After PMP

Senior project manager bands in Kyiv reach around UAH 1.06M a year, with delivery leadership higher still

    Today

Passed over when the job advert lists certification as required or preferred

    After PMP

Shortlisted for roles across IT services, energy, construction, banking and recovery programmes

    Today

Strong on execution, but unproven on governance, risk and benefits tracking

    After PMP

Able to plan, govern and report to the standard international funders and clients expect

    You earn your PMP

    Before

Your project authority rests on tenure rather than a recognised credential

    Now you have

A PMI credential recognised by Ukrainian employers and international clients alike

    Before

Capable of more, but screened out of roles that ask for certification

    Now you have

A clear route into senior project manager, PMO and delivery leadership roles

    Before

Comfortable with one way of working, exposed when the project needs another

    Now you have

Fluency in predictive control and agile delivery, and the judgement to choose between them

    Before

Recognition that stops at your current employer or industry

    Now you have

A credential valid in more than 200 countries, portable across sectors and borders

"The gap between running a project and leading one is judgement, and a credential that lets people trust it before they have seen you work."

Capabilities You Will Take Back to WorkPredictive, Agile, and Hybrid Delivery

Skills covered in the PMP training map directly to the five domains of PMI's updated Examination Content Outline, built on the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition: fundamentals and core concepts, predictive plan-based methodologies, agile frameworks, business analysis and strategic management, and stakeholder engagement and communication. You practise each with scenarios drawn from real delivery, so the learning is usable on Monday, not just on exam day.

Apply Project Management Principles with Judgement

Work confidently across the fundamentals and core concepts domain: project life cycles, phases and governance checkpoints, roles and responsibilities, value and benefits realisation, and PMI's Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct. This is the reasoning the scenario questions test, and the reasoning sponsors expect from you.

    Plan and Control Predictive Projects

Build a work breakdown structure, develop a network diagram and critical path, estimate and baseline a budget, and track performance with earned value management. You will run integrated change control and close projects and phases formally, which is the discipline that donor-funded and infrastructure work demands.

    Lead Agile and Iterative Delivery

Facilitate Scrum events, manage a product backlog, size work with story points, and read velocity, burndown and cumulative flow. You will also apply Kanban work-in-progress limits and Lean thinking, then decide when a hybrid model serves the project better than either extreme.

Turn Business Needs into Project Scope

Run needs assessments and gap analysis, elicit and manage requirements through interviews, workshops and user stories, and build a business case with clear acceptance criteria. You will link projects to strategy and track benefits with KPIs, the standalone business analysis domain in the updated exam.

Engage Stakeholders and Communicate with Impact

Identify and classify stakeholders with power and interest analysis, tailor an engagement strategy, and plan communication channels and cadence. You will handle conflict, manage expectations, and report clearly to sponsors, boards and funders across virtual and cross-cultural teams.

Manage Risk and Uncertainty Under Pressure

Identify, assess and prioritise risks, choose proportionate responses, assign owners, and escalate through governance when a risk becomes an issue. This is the capability that protects delivery on energy, infrastructure and reconstruction work where conditions change fast.

What Our Learners in Ukraine Say

    Untitled

    Turned Experience into a Credential

"I had been running delivery for years without anything to show for it. The training gave me the structure, and the trainer pushed hard on the scenario questions until my reasoning matched what the exam wants. I passed and moved into a senior project role three months later."

    Andriy Kovalenko

    Senior Project Manager, IT Services

Strong on Predictive and Agile Alike

"The agile and hybrid content was the part I underestimated. Coming from a construction background, I expected pure waterfall. Learning where iterative delivery actually fits changed how I plan phases, and the mock exams showed me exactly where I was weak."

    Olha Tkachenko

    Project Manager, Infrastructure

    Application Support Made the Difference

"Documenting 36 months of project leadership for the PMI application felt harder than the exam itself. The guidance on how to write up my experience saved me weeks, and the earned value sessions are already paying off in my day job."

    Delivery Lead, Banking Technology

One Standard Across the Whole PMO

"We put twelve project managers through the programme. Within a quarter our status reporting was consistent for the first time, and risk escalation stopped depending on who happened to be running the project. Sponsors noticed before we told them."

    Head of PMO, Energy Sector

    Governance Our Funders Trust

"Our clients and funders expect governance evidence, not promises. Training our delivery leads to a recognised standard made audits and reporting far less painful, and the sessions were scheduled around our sprint calendar rather than against it."

Frequently Asked QuestionsHere's everything you may ask...

The Project Management Professional (PMP) is PMI's flagship credential, validating your ability to lead projects and teams using predictive, agile and hybrid approaches. It is designed for experienced project managers, delivery leads and functional managers who already lead project work and want globally recognised proof of it.

    General

What is the PMP certification and who is it for?

The Project Management Professional (PMP) is PMI's flagship credential, validating your ability to lead projects and teams using predictive, agile and hybrid approaches. It is designed for experienced project managers, delivery leads and functional managers who already lead project work and want globally recognised proof of it.

Is the PMP worth it for project managers in Ukraine?

Yes, because it is the credential Ukrainian employers use to shortlist for senior delivery roles. Senior project manager bands in Kyiv reach around UAH 1.06M a year, and certified professionals consistently report a pay premium over non-certified peers. Demand runs across IT services, energy, construction, banking and recovery programmes.

Is the PMP recognised by employers in Ukraine?

Yes. The credential is recognised in over 200 countries and is regularly named in job specifications, client contracts and procurement requirements. In Ukraine it carries particular weight on donor-funded and internationally financed programmes, where funders expect audit-ready project governance.

How long is the certification valid?

The credential is valid for three years from the date of certification. To keep it active you earn 60 PDUs within each three-year cycle through PMI's Continuing Certification Requirements programme.

How do I renew my credential once I have it?

Earn 60 Professional Development Units across the three PMI Talent Triangle areas, Ways of Working, Power Skills and Business Acumen, with at least 8 PDUs in each, within your three-year cycle. You report PDUs through PMI's CCR system and pay the renewal fee.

How is the PMP different from the PMI-ACP?

The PMP covers predictive, agile and hybrid delivery and is the broader, more senior credential. The PMI-ACP is agile-specific and goes deep on multiple agile frameworks. Many professionals hold both, but the PMP is the one employers name when hiring project leaders.

    Pricing

What is included in the training fee?

Your fee covers instructor-led sessions, PMI-aligned courseware, practice questions, mock exams and exam simulator access, guidance on your PMI application, post-training support and the 35 contact hours of project management education PMI requires. Fees for training in Ukraine are available on request. Talk to a learning advisor for a quote.

Is the PMI exam fee included in the training price?

No. PMI bills the exam fee separately through pmi.org, and it is not part of the training fee. Members pay less than non-members, and membership also gives you access to the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition and the Agile Practice Guide.

How much does the PMP exam cost?

PMI charges different rates for members and non-members, and pricing varies by region, so check the current fee on pmi.org before you apply. Taking out PMI membership usually reduces the exam fee and lowers renewal costs later.

Do you offer group or corporate rates in Ukraine?

Yes. We offer group pricing for corporate cohorts, with customised schedules and content tailored to your sector and live projects. Ask about corporate or group pricing and we will put a proposal together for your team.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, and instalment options are available on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Exam

How many questions are on the PMP exam and how long is it?

The exam has 180 questions and runs for 230 minutes, which is three hours and 50 minutes including two scheduled 10-minute breaks. It is closed book and mixes multiple-choice single and multiple answer questions with matching, hotspot and limited fill-in-the-blank items.

What domains does the updated PMP exam cover?

The updated Examination Content Outline has five domains: Project Management Fundamentals and Core Concepts (15%), Predictive Plan-Based Methodologies (28%), Agile Frameworks and Methodologies (27%), Business Analysis and Strategic Management (18%), and Stakeholder Engagement and Communication (12%).

Which edition is the PMP exam based on?

The updated exam is based on the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition, which replaces the previous edition as the primary reference standard, together with PMI's updated Examination Content Outline and the Agile Practice Guide. Our courseware is aligned to the 8th edition.

What is the passing score for the PMP exam?

PMI does not publish a fixed percentage pass mark. The passing standard is set through psychometric analysis, and your result comes back as pass or fail with domain-level feedback rated Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement.

What if I do not pass the exam first time?

You get up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility window, so a first-time miss is recoverable. A reexamination fee applies to the second and third attempts, and our trainers help you use your domain feedback to target revision where it counts.

Where can I sit the PMP exam in Ukraine?

You can sit it online from home or office through Pearson VUE's OnVUE proctored system, or at a Pearson VUE test centre. Scheduling is done through Pearson VUE or the PMI portal once your application is approved.

    Course Content

Do I need project experience before taking this course?

You can join the training at any stage, but the exam itself requires real project leadership experience: 36 months if you hold a four-year degree, or 60 months with a secondary school qualification. If you are not there yet, the training still builds the skills and gives you the 35 contact hours you will need later.

What topics does the PMP training cover?

The programme follows the five domains of the current ECO: fundamentals and core concepts, predictive plan-based methodologies, agile frameworks, business analysis and strategic management, and stakeholder engagement and communication. You practise work breakdown structures, critical path, earned value, Scrum events, Kanban flow, risk response and benefits tracking.

Does the training cover agile as well as predictive delivery?

Yes, and heavily. Agile Frameworks and Methodologies is a dedicated domain worth 27% of the updated exam, and predictive plan-based methodologies account for another 28%. You cover Scrum, Kanban, Lean, XP and hybrid models alongside classic waterfall planning and control.

What study materials and practice tests are included?

You receive PMI-aligned courseware, practice questions mapped to the 180-question exam format, full-length mock exams, exam simulator access, chapter quizzes and downloadable project management templates you can use at work.

Does the course provide the 35 contact hours PMI requires?

Yes. The programme delivers the 35 contact hours of project management education PMI requires from every applicant, whichever eligibility path you take, and you receive a completion certificate documenting them for your application.

    Enrollment

Who is eligible to apply for the PMP exam?

There are two paths. With a four-year degree you need 36 months of leading projects plus 35 contact hours of project management education. With a secondary school qualification you need 60 months of leading projects plus the same 35 contact hours.

How do I enrol in PMP training in Ukraine?

Choose an upcoming batch on the Invensis Learning website, complete payment, and you get immediate access to schedules, courseware and learning resources. See upcoming batches, or speak with a learning advisor if you want help choosing a format.

    What training formats are available?

We run instructor-led classroom training, live online training, and blended options, plus customised corporate group training. Live online sessions are scheduled to suit working professionals across Ukraine.

How soon can I start and how long does certification take?

You can join the next available batch, and most learners complete the training and sit the exam within a few months. Once PMI approves your application you have a one-year eligibility window to pass, so you can pace your preparation around work.

Can I reschedule or transfer to another batch?

Yes. You can reschedule or move to a later batch, and selected plans let you attend the training twice. Contact our support team and we will arrange it.

What support do I get after the training ends?

You keep access to your learning resources and receive post-training email support from our team, including guidance on documenting your project leadership experience for the PMI application and planning your exam booking.
