Why Risk Management Skills Are in Demand Across Ukraine

    Reconstruction at Unprecedented Scale

Ukraine's recovery is costed near USD 588 billion over the next decade. Programmes of this size demand portfolio-grade risk identification, analysis and response that certified risk professionals are trained to deliver.

PMI-RMP builds risk strategy and planning skills

    Donor and Investor Risk Assurance

The EU Ukraine Facility and multilateral funds release capital against formal risk governance. Employers need people who can build risk registers and reporting that satisfy donor and investor scrutiny.

PMI-RMP builds governance and reporting skills

    High-Stakes Energy Rebuild

Energy takes the largest share of the Ukraine Investment Framework, in a high-consequence, threat-exposed environment where structured risk analysis and response planning are essential to protect delivery.

PMI-RMP builds quantitative risk analysis skills

    EU Accession Compliance Pressure

Aligning to European standards raises the bar for risk governance across public and private programmes, creating demand for practitioners who apply PMI-aligned risk frameworks with discipline.

PMI-RMP aligns practice to recognised standards

    Shortage of Certified Risk Specialists

Ukraine's talent pool is deep in project managers but thin in credentialed risk specialists. PMI-RMP eligibility and its exam make holders rare and highly sought after by hiring employers.

PMI-RMP makes certified professionals stand out

    A Volatile Operating Environment

War, currency and supply-chain volatility mean risks shift constantly. Organisations need professionals who can monitor triggers, manage residual risk, and act before threats derail projects.

    Identify Threats and Opportunities

Run structured identification using brainstorming, the Delphi technique, SWOT and assumption analysis. Record risks in a clear, complete register and validate coverage with the team so nothing material is missed.

    Analyse and Prioritise Risk

Apply qualitative scoring with a probability and impact matrix, then quantitative tools such as Monte Carlo simulation, decision trees and expected monetary value to rank risks and focus effort where it counts most.

    Plan and Implement Risk Responses

Select strategies for threats (avoid, transfer, mitigate, accept) and opportunities (exploit, share, enhance, accept). Assign owners, set triggers, and build contingency and fallback plans that hold up under pressure.

    Monitor, Report and Close Risks

Track triggers and residual risk, run periodic risk reviews, and report exposure to stakeholders and governance bodies. Close resolved risks and capture lessons learned for future programmes.

Apply the Tools and Pass the Exam

Practise with questions mapped to the 115-question, closed-book format and get guidance on documenting your risk experience for the PMI-RMP application, so you move from learning to certified with a clear plan.

    General

What is the PMI-RMP certification and who is it for?

The PMI Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP) is PMI's specialist credential in project risk management. It recognises expertise in identifying, assessing and controlling risk across projects and programmes. It suits risk specialists, project managers, PMO analysts and senior delivery leaders who want a recognised risk credential.

Is the PMI-RMP worth it for professionals in Ukraine?

    Pricing

What is included in the PMI-RMP training fee?

How much does the PMI-RMP exam cost?

PMI bills the exam separately in USD under regional pricing. For reference, it is around USD 520 for PMI members and USD 670 for non-members, though actual fees vary, so confirm current amounts at pmi.org. Membership can lower the exam fee.

Do you offer group or corporate pricing for teams?

    Exam

What is the format of the PMI-RMP exam?

The PMI-RMP exam is closed book with multiple-choice questions, based on the PMI-RMP Examination Content Outline effective January 2022. It is delivered via Pearson VUE OnVUE online proctoring or at a Pearson VUE test centre.

How many questions are on the PMI-RMP exam and how long is it?

The exam has 115 questions and a total time of 2.5 hours (150 minutes). It uses single-answer and multiple-answer multiple-choice formats across the five risk domains.

What are the PMI-RMP exam domains and their weights?

There are five domains per the 2022 ECO: Risk Strategy and Planning (20%), Risk Identification (20%), Risk Analysis (23%), Risk Response (22%) and Monitor and Close Risks (15%).

What is the passing score for the PMI-RMP exam?

PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score that is not published as a fixed number. Results are reported as pass or fail, with domain-level feedback (Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement), so focus on broad mastery of all five domains.

What happens if I do not pass the first time?

You have up to three attempts within the one-year eligibility window from application approval. Re-examination fees apply to later attempts. Our practice questions and mock exams are designed to prepare you fully for a first-time pass.

    Course Content

What will I learn in the PMI-RMP training?

You will learn to plan, identify, analyse, respond to and monitor project risk across all five PMI-RMP domains. The programme covers qualitative and quantitative analysis, response strategies for threats and opportunities, and risk monitoring across predictive, agile and hybrid delivery.

Can a beginner take this course, or do I need experience?

Anyone can attend the training. To sit the PMI-RMP exam, PMI requires project risk management experience and risk education under one of three eligibility sets. The 32 contact hours help meet the education requirement, and trainers support you throughout.

Does this training meet the PMI-RMP education requirement?

Yes. The 32 contact hours fully satisfy the 30-hour risk education requirement for Set B (bachelor's degree) and Set C (GAC-accredited degree) candidates. Set A candidates (secondary diploma) need 40 hours and should add at least 8 more hours of risk education.

Is the courseware aligned with the latest PMI-RMP outline?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the PMI-RMP Examination Content Outline effective January 2022 and the PMI Practice Standard for Project Risk Management, covering predictive, agile and hybrid risk approaches.

Are practice tests and mock exams included?

Yes. The programme includes practice questions and full-length mock exams mapped to the 115-question format, plus topic-wise checks to help you identify weak areas and build exam readiness.

    Enrollment

What are the eligibility requirements to earn the PMI-RMP?

PMI offers three sets: Set A (secondary diploma) needs 36 months of risk experience in the last 5 years plus 40 hours of risk education; Set B (bachelor's) needs 24 months plus 30 hours; Set C (GAC-accredited degree) needs 12 months plus 30 hours. Experience must be specifically in project risk management.

How do I enrol in the PMI-RMP course?
